Great Food!!! This is our first time for me and my husband eating from this place. It was recommended to me by another friend... and it was well worth it. I have eaten mofongo in the past but they were always too dry. This one was moist and delicious!!! Iloved it! And the jibarito my husband had was very good and tasty!!! Our friends took us here after they raved about how good the food was. I can say that Doble Gustazo surpassed our expectations.... Service was pretty quick and super friendly. We ordered the Tripleta sandwich (steak, ham and chicken) and we both agreed it wasamazing. The sandwich itself is also pretty big, so you get a good amount of food for the price. We also tried the alcapurriawhich was on point as well. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and couldn?t stay long but were told that they would have livemusic starting at 4pm. They have a small parking lot with several spaces and are easy to spot as they have Puerto Rican andAmerican flags alongside 41. If you like Puerto Rican cuisine you should definitely check them out! Moved to Land O Lakes area 3 months ago from NY/PA area and have been searching for all the "Food Spots"... WE FOUND A... W-I-N-N-N-N-N-E-E-E-R-R-R!!! I ordered...Don't judge me ;) It was for my family and I! Chicharron de Pollo(FriedChicken) Seasoned bone-in crunchy fried with Fresh Plantains Camarones (Al Ajillo) over Monfongo Garlic Shrimps sautéd onbutter with garlic and our seasoning over (Green Mashed Plantains with Garlic Flavor and Butter) Empanada de Pollo(Chicken) Arroz (Rice with Peas) Delicioso-o-o-o and I will be back to try other menu picks. I have been here multiple times and every time I receive consistently delicious food. The empanadas are great, the mofongo is... great, the rice with gandule is great! Everything is great. Happy to see they expanded. Prices are a bit more but atleast youknow your getting some good food! Seen this place a while, and decided to give it a try. We had arroz con gandules, chicharrón de pollo, pork chunks, mofongo,... tostones con mayuketchup y empanadas de carne. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our favorites were the tostones, mofongo, andarroz con gandules. The meats were crunchy, the way they should be for this dish, but our only complaint is that they lackedflavor. Even the beef in the empanadas, had no flavor. A bit of sofrito, salsa de tomate, sazón and it would have made a bigdifference. Cute little place. Great parking. Easy to get to, especially if you come the back way. Friendly people. Read more
