Beautiful lodge with amazing folks running the place! This is my second time visiting and fishing. The family who owns the place... are a sweet and hospitable crew. The cabins are older but well maintained and comfortable. There are lots of bikes, paddleboats, kayaks and canoes to ride. You can also rent pontoon boats right here. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Read more
What an amazing fishing lodge experience!! Almost 60 years this family has treated everyone like family. Erica, Phil & Linda... bent over backwards to make sure everyone felt like family. The meals were incredible, the lodging has games, outdoor activitiesand indoor, great fishing and just a fantastic time. I can't wait to go back!! Read more
We stumbled upon this place by accident. We were heading home and got tired. There was not a lot of options for places to stop... to get some rests. I started at the top of the list with Google maps and started calling places. It was off season so the pricewas fantastic for a night to sleep and start fresh in the morning. Clean and cozy 2 bedroom cabin. Would love to come back herewith the kids. Read more
The best place to stay no doubt. The owners and staff are polite and accommodating, the really make you feel like family. Small... and secluded enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Northwoods and yet plenty of on-site activities to always beentertained. Access to the lake with top notch fishing is a main attraction of Sunrise! Read more
This is the best family owned resort. If you are bored it is your own fault. The pictures don?t do justice. They don?t include... the tennis rackets, mini golf, basketball court, wooden train to climb on, fish cleaning station, main lodge, or individualcabins. The homemade food was amazing!!! I can see why families come year after year and never give up their cabin for thesame week of the year. The owners are so nice and it?s clear to see that when you stay you become their family.
