So I really debated leaving this review because my wife and I are locals and want to support small businesses around here. But... It was our first time visiting, and we won?t be back soon. We were there from 6:30-8:30. We ordered one appetizer (Pimentobites, which were great, so credit where it is due) they took 30 minutes to arrive when the restaurant wasn?t busy (maybe 8other tables with 4 waitresses). Our drinks were low until we asked for refills. An hour and half in we debated just asking forthe bill and paying for the appetizer but we figured it wouldn?t be fair to not at least try the entrees after waiting thatlong. The fried chicken was bland, the noodles unseasoned/unsauced, the grits seemed microwaved, the shrimp uncooked. Thewaitress didn?t ask how the food was before the check came around. She just told us how they were understaffed. We would havetold the server that the food wasn?t good but we had already been there two hours and were ready to leave. Ultimately it wasnot worth $65 for what we received. Two meh entrees and a decent appetizer. I would just say either raise the quality of therestaurants food, atmosphere, and service to support the pricing or lower the pricing to match the current quality. Either way Iwould definitely recommend a change. Read more

We owned a restaurant in NY for over a decade and now travel extensively. This was by far the best food we have had in SC. The... menu was unique, very fresh, and all homemade. The tuna appetizer was especially outstanding as were the sandwichs. We got themwith soup and salad as sides which were delicious and very generous portions. Our server Tabor did a wonderful job, he was veryofficiant, knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. The building is a little confusing. Youenter through the back. Then there is a beautiful dining room as well as outside seating. I can not recommend this highlyenough. We are excited to return, to try more of the menu. Read more

My daughter and I received a recommendation to dine here, so we did and thought the atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the... menu options were wonderful. We both ordered salads and they were delicious(steak and shrimp), however we love fries and decidedto try the Parmesan fries even though the price was steep at $12.50, we thought they must be some Pretty awesome fries? well, they were simply a basket of fries with a pinch of shredded Parmesan and we were VERY disappointed. I did not complain, but justa heads up to you all NOT to order them yet instead order the basket of plain fries for a fraction of the cost????The menu wasNOt clear as it did NOT specify a pinch of shredded Parmesan. Our server was rarely attentive and seemed very busy which is whyI saved her the time of my Complaint-we were being nice. Your reply is not what I expected, therefore we will not be returning. Traveling from NC back to SC, we were hungry and looking for a sandwich shop. We didn't want fast food, so we looked on Google... to see what was in the area, since we were unfamiliar with Landrum. Our waitress was responsive and helpful, giving us a verbaltour and making sure we knew where the restroom was since we still had a two hour drive in front of us. The food was beautifulon the plate, tasted wonderful, and priced right for the quality. Will stop in again the next time we are up that way. Read more

Stopped by on our drive back south and this was a much welcomed meal. The menu includes southern staples along with dishes like... pizza, salad, and large plates. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was awesome! Shrimp and grits were really delicious as well. This is a great restaurant to stop at for lunch! Read more

First time dining here and it was fantastic! If you like Brussel Sprouts you have to try their candied one's! They are amazing!... The portion was large enough to save half the sandwich for later! Service was great, they were a little busy so it took a whilefor the food to come but it was such a lovely day we enjoyed the extra time to chat. Definitely one to check out! Read more
