Variety of food, a bit hard to choose. I got the new England Clam chowder and half of a Ruben. Both were good and tasty. We were... asked a few times how was everything and if we needed anything which was nice. My babe got the catfish nice large portion onthat. He game a piece it was tender and very fresh. Over all we had good service and good food, we will be back. Noticed thatthere were a few regulars that attended and seemed to be remembered and well liked by the staff here. ???? and while you waitfor your food your asked if you want popcorn ????. Read more

Too bad you can?t offer stars for different parts of the experience. Let?s start with the very good- Kellye L, our server, was... extremely nice, attentive, and capable. The complimentary popcorn as a starter was a nice touch. My wife had hoped for an appysize of the chicken livers, which Kellye said was possible despite not being on the menu. A generous portion, extremely tasty, but not inexpensive for a half size at $8. She also had the BLT, good flavor, but the bacon was thick and ended up being closerto jerky than crisp bacon. I was torn between the Fish and Chips (which was starred on the menu as a fav) and the Reuben. Kellyenoted that they made their own dressing in house and steered me towards the Reuben. Perhaps it was the dressing, but thesandwich ended up being very salty, and at $11.29, even with a generous order of fries, I would go with the Fish and Chipsinstead next time. Finally, we were pleasantly surprised to see Rhubarb pie on the menu, so we got a slice to go. At $5.59, itnonetheless was straight to the trash at home- the rhubarb had not even been cooked. A disappointing ending, and brought theaverage for the whole visit down to 3 stars. Read more

Hare and Hound provided the pies for our wedding. They were delicious and so beautiful! We had the bourbon pecan pie as well as... the key lime pie. The pies looked so lovely in our pie display. They were definitely on the sweet side, so I might recommend alittle less sugar in the pies, but overall I highly recommend Hare and Hound! Read more

Dang...can I eat here everyday? Delicious southern fare and great service. I enjoyed the chicken livers which were PERFECT! The... bourbon smoked corn chowder was delicious and these people do not play with their bowl sizes. It was a meal. The clam chowderwas perfect and the pimento cheese sandwich was just what pimento cheese should be. Can't wait to go back. Read more

I wasn't expecting my dining experience to be this good. It's a very popular place with lines waiting to get in. Now I see... why. We got seated pretty fast with maybe a 5 min wait. One of us got a burger and fries and the other got soup and sandwich. Iwas eating cheap that night but... My soup was delicious...and so was my sandwich. But..I tasted my spouses burger and it wasphenomenal. This beef was obviously a special, fresh ground steak of some sort. I'd put this burger in the top two burgersI've ever eaten. Service was friendly and fast. The interior reminds me of the TV show Cheers. The location is great for anafter dinner walk. Read more
