Damiko Sushi is amazing, we always try to order too much food and the lovely owner helped us choose two different options... instead of two very similar options. So sweet of her! On my first visit to this Japanese sushi restaurant, I had no idea there would be such a good sushi restaurant in such an... obscure spot, hidden behind the gas station. There are many kinds of sushi big size and good price. I've been to many sushirestaurants, but the taste is not as good as this one. Good service. I highly recommend it. Read more
Very friendly staff willing to cater to allergies & celiac/gluten free. Their miso soup and wasabi doesn?t use wheat as filler,... the miso soup is made in a gluten free facility, they have real crab available, and they offer gluten free soy sauce.(Philadelphia roll pictured) The food is very fresh and delicious. This place has consistently delicious food. Generous portions, fresh fish, friendly staff and always efficient. Take-out or... dine-in - always good! What more could you ask for? My favourite sushi spot for sure. Read more
Quality has gone down hill. The last few times I have ordered I either have an item missing, or the food isn?t what is... advertised. For example, the jumbo dynamite roll ($14) is advertised as two prawn tempura, avacado , cucumber, and spicy crunch.My roll today has one prawn tempura and a hollow no prawn all deep fry ?second piece? the tiniest amount of avacado andcucumber, and is mostly tempura crunch. Really?!...really?!... I order from you all the time since covid. Sometimes twice a week and not small orders. Lately you have... become very stingy with the wasabi, sesame seeds, and soy sauce. This time you didn't put even 1 tiny bag of soy sauce with myorder. I don't understand it. Is wasabi expensive??Are these condiments really breaking your profit margins????
