This hidden gem is tucked away on a side street, but we saw the signage as we were walking by. Stopped in for a quick lunch, and... both of us were impressed with the food. First time here and I'm very happy! Went with the breakfast crepe and when she asked about the hot sauce on top I said... "suuuure". Spicy and crepes? Visited on a whim while waiting for my car to be worked on. Very cute little cafe tucked in behind the thrift store! Very... friendly staff, food was amazing and served in a timely manner despite it being extremely busy. I had the chicken basil & pestocrepe, seafood soup and latte. I had the creamy shrimp crepe and I was licking the plate! The bread of the crepe and the salad and onion and creamy sauce made... for well-balanced flavour. It was absolutely delicious and also unique, I will be coming back for sure! Its great to see familybusinesses doing well! Read more

i will cherish this place for life! hot and toasty cafe is one of my all-time favourite places to have a cozy and affordable... brunch in metro van. the owners are always so kind and hardworking & the food is always consistent and tasty. my usual order isthe pesto chicken sandwich on multigrain bread and i definitely recommend it. other great things to try are their broccolicheddar soup, dessert crepe, and bulgogi sandwich, all of which are fantastic.
