We had a wonderful take out dinner from Match Eatery last night. We had a poor experience about 5 weeks ago, but I wrote in and... Sean Palmer, General Manager was awesome, helpful and wanted us to have a great new experience. We had a complimentary take outorder last night and it came out quick and the food was hot/awesome. I highly recommend the beef dip which is always great andthe steak sandwich (which isn't done in a traditional way) was fantastic (so thank you to the Chef/Cooks)! The bartenderZachary was also great! We sure enjoyed our dinner and am so happy with how our disappointing issue was truly made up for. Went on a Sat night and were lucky enough to be seated right away. Server came to our table promptly as did the drinks. Our food... however took a full 38 minutes! Later we find out that there was a private room booked for 40 people and that’s likely whythe kitchen was backed up. Well if that was the case it would have been prudent for the server to advise us of that possibilitywhen we were seated. Not once during the 38 minutes did she come back to the table to give us a status on our food or ask us ifwe wanted more drinks. I would have given it minus one if I could but they got one star for the delicious beet salad and onestar for the manager (Rick?) for checking with us how everything went. Great service and great food. Pasta 50% off which included an incredible seafood linguine. They also have an awesome Tex-Mex... menu. Nachos were epic with cheese all the way through and all served on a tortilla which was a really nice touch. Apple salsasour cream and guac provided! The brussel sprouts were absolutely incredible. Great view of the mountains, amazing heated patio, food is great and filling! Would recommend the crispy fish tacos or... fish/chips (shown in the picture with a spot salad) as well as the Canadian salad (Poutine). Loved the service there as well -had a great server, Alexis, who noticed we were missed when taking an order and provided prompt, friendly service as well asconstantly checking in to make sure we were taken care of! Definitely picking this place over any of the other Squamishrestaurants next time we’re up for a hike! :) Read more

Nice place, great environment as you can watch games while enjoying your food and drinks. Also Happy Hours are 3 to 6 PM and 9... PM to close all days. Food was good, service was good. I would recommend this place. Read more
Great place to eat. Bottomless drinks. Went during happy hour and didn't disappoint. We ordered fries, nachos, tacos and burger... sliders. We had a great person catering our needs. Friendly staff and I love the individual bathroom. We would definitely eathere again. Read more
We celebrated my father's 90th birthday party for lunch on Thanksgiving and we couldn't have been happier. Nicole and the... restaurant Manager did a great job looking after all of us. The food was exceptional as was the service. I would certainlyrecommend this restaurant for any family event. They have a perfect section to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. Thecomplimentary birthday dessert was also enjoyed by all of us! Thank you to everyone at Matches. We will be back! Read more
