A deceptively pleasant experience; a location that feels like visiting a secluded diner until food is delivered. All of our... meals provided a wow factor. A top tier Greek salad, perfectly cooked steak, and one of the meanest Alfredo pastas I have everlaid eyes on. Our meals were served so quickly from the window that my pasta was still piping hot a good 15 minutes intoconsuming it. A generous serving Garlic bread came with each dish and the prices had us wondering how they stay in business. Awonderful experience all around; worthy of many many visits and anyone's time. Not sure what's up with the negative reviews, this is a traditional Greek Restaurant with the best Pizza I have ever had. I have... tried the Me & EDs, Pizza Hut and many other Pizza's and this place was by far the best thick and juicy Pizza I have ever had,well there is a place in Winnipeg to but this was amazing. My friend John and I stopped in here to visit, eat and have a fewdrinks and we ordered the large Pizza, while its no joke and we should not have, the pizza was so good we both polished off thislarge monster Pizza. I tell my friends about this place but they just tell me they all know about how good the food is. Irecommend this to anyone wanting an amazing Pizza!! Read more
I have been going to "other" locations of Ocean park Pizza since I was a kid (to the original Ocean park pizza) and I now have a... grown kid of mine who I have shared my love of this restaurant. But I will NEVER go to this location ever again! First of allthe owner (man) was rude and made fun of me for wearing a mask (the place was super busy and lined up to even get in). Tellingme I was scared. Then the food I got was terrible... the potato skins had no cheese on them and were so dry! And my favouritesalad with the famous house dressing was brown! Don't go to this location, this was my first time at the 40th location, go tothe one in Aldergrove. My favourite there is the teriyaki steak and lasagna, the house salad or the ceasar salad. No tapping payment. Couldn?t pay for take out so my friend joined to pay with card. Greek salad was smaller than on photo. ... Pizza lacked cheese. Service at table was more hostile than expected. When I did?t order dessert waitress had look of beingoffended. I still tipped more than 10%. But like, take out would have been less money for me and on top to get the hostilelook was not my expectation. I returned into the place to eat because of payment issue with no tapping. Food - lasagne and oppizza was too salty for me. I?ll try Greek food n steak lobster next time though. One more chance before I spend money herewith physical card. Read more
We ordered their Calamari appetizer to go. I would have to say that it was the worst Calamari you can imagine. Tough and greasy,... Worse than grocery store bought. We have been going there for over 33 years now and then and always enjoyed every thing weordered. Must be new owners. This place disserves ZERO STARS and will never go back again. Read more
Wonderful service and excellent food! Warm inviting atmosphere and decent prices. Feels like family is cooking for you with... fresh ingredients and friendly servers. We had lamb and ribs this visit. Not a good experience overall: the lamb was good, the veggies on the other dish were sad and look like taken out of a frozen bag... and warmed on a microwave but the outstanding disappointment was The Service!. The older lady that served us ( she seemed likean owner with attitude!) was dry, not friendly and almost rude! It made us feel not welcome at all! No point on naming all thedetails but we won?t go back! Rather to spend our money somewhere else with a welcoming attitude.
