Lunch combo is very worth while as you can see from the pictures. Their tempura is fried to perfection.
I ordered veggie tempura roll, miso soup, edamame, gyoza and avocado roll. All were good except the veggie gyoza was extremely... disappointing. It?s supposed to be boiled and soft. It was crispy and fried and dry. Everything else was good though, especiallythe yam temporal roll. Read more

Whoever packed the takeout didnt tie the bag tight enough so the sunomono spilt everywhere. (The container in the first pic lid... was squashed in) The entire bottom of the bag was sunomono sauce, mixed with spicy sashimi sauce. some of tbem are little pricey, beef teriyaki was over cooked. Sushi were average. Deep fried chicken were fine.
Tried samba for first time today. Outstanding food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Hot tender teriyaki chicken, crispy... perfectly cooked tempura. The food was very fast despite busy lunch rush. Reasonably priced, and the lunch box was very large.I could tell everything was made fresh for my order. Sashimi was delicate and nice and cold. First time ordering here, and it was really good! I get a roll like this at my favourite place in South Surrey and just found... somewhere close to home with a Cali roll that has yam on top! Best day ever. Cali roll, yam tempura and sweet sauce. It'sperfect. We may just become regulars! Read more
Over cooked beef thats more like jerky than steak. There salad is actually rotten brown. Seafood taste spoiled half the time the... deep fried stuff is greasy. Aftwr todays bad attitude because they can't take simple directions like no fish eggs. I would nevergo here again even if I was paid to.
