I've used the DIY catering two times over the past couple years, mostrecently for an engagement party last month, and the food and service have been exceptional! Steve even let me use his heatingcontainers to keep the food warm so I didn't have to reheat - it kept it hot for a couple of hours! The guests loved the food -especially the mashed potatoes!! They threw in a cake cutting for us with a minor adjustment to our reception schedule which worked out great.
