My husband and I make a monthly pilgrimage here from the North end of Whidbey Island. The food is excellent every time. Their... beer menu has grown including some delicious imported options. The shop is a bit small but has a lovely atmosphere to make upfor that. Before you visit, check their hours because they're atypical. It's pricey but the food is worth its price. This ramenshop feels like a small slice of Japan with the authentic taste to accompany it. Read more

My family and I were excited to find this place. Nice hole in the wall by the beach. They have a bunch of snacks that reminded... me from Japan. And the ramen is amazing wayy better than what I can find in our town. Depending how much customers their are maytake awhile but the ramen was definitely worth it. Read more

My family and I are from Hawai?i and my husband lived in Japan for a while so we are particular about our ramen. We just moved... to Oak Harbor and decided to drive the hour to Langley to try this place out. We went on a Friday night around 6:30pm. The waitwas about 30 minutes, but more people came and the wait grew to 45 minutes after us. They took down our phone number so thatthey could call/text us while we walked around the town. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We were greeted by one of theowners, Cherub, and she enthusiastically gave us a quick run down of their restaurant?s history. There is a small corner of toysfor small children to play in that my daughter enjoyed. The food came out quickly and everything we ordered was delicious!Everyone around us ordered the gyoza that we didn?t get to try, but we are definitely coming back so we will try that next time! The only place in Langley to order ramen. I ordered Tonkotsu ramen and while waiting ordered strawberry mochi ice cream dessert... (I often eat my desserts first). The ramen was a wonderful lunch on a cold day. The broth was rich, the pork chasu tender tobite, and the ramen noodles had just the right chew. It's slightly less salty than ramen I've had from other places but still alot salty as expected from the dish - so keep that in mind if you are monitoring your salt intake. The dish is a good sizeserving, enough for one person not two. The mochi ice cream is nothing special, its served with a dollop of whipped cream onthe side. I would recommend ordering it though after a bowl of ramen to 'wash off' the salt overload your palate just had. Idrank water instead. The place is small with limited seating. It was busy when I dined in but fortunately I arrived earlyenough to secure the bar seating for me and my small group. Public restrooms are outside in a separate building a few stepsaway. Read more

Excellent flavor, but their add-ons were tiny for how much they charge (bok choy pictured as an example). But very pleased with... the taste! Good ramen and nice people who work there. Read more

Super good eats with very friendly staff and owner :) Love that the ramen broth isn't too salty and for us, the portion size is... just perfect. The vegetarian broth was lighter than the pork black garlic ramen, but still had lots of creamy flavor and lots ofyummy fillings. Mango ice cream mochi afterwords also hit the spot, and they have a very impressive and long list of beverages! The onigiri sampler was very good, filling and simple and each flavor was great (in particular I loved the sour plum). The friedgyoza were also juicy and crispy with a great dipping sauce. And lastly, their vegetable bowl was filling and hearty while alsofeeling very nutritious and nourishing. Also love their logo design and merchandise, and will be back to try their natto bowland more ^^ Read more

Get your bang for your buck at this restaurant. Their Ramen is the best on Whidbey Island and arguably one of the best in... Washington. It?s a cute little hidden gem of a restaurant with a little Japanese-themed store that sells snacks, stickers, chopsticks, Ultra House merchandise and more! The staff is so friendly and fun, and the speed of the service is amazing. Qualityramen in less than 15 minutes! Great place for family and friends! No better place around to satisfy your cravings! This is the best dining experience we?ve had on Whidbey Island? and the best we?ve had since the beginning of the pandemic. The... service is fantastic and the food is amazing. There is a gluten free option!! It?s amazing! I haven?t left without buying a tonof cute Japanese merch. They even have a natto bowl! For someone who lived in Okinawa and ate natto every single morning, it?snice to have natto again. Read more
