Not happy w my dinner. BLT barely had any bacon and I ordered extra and the bread was hard and the fries were hard.
I've been eating here for over 30 years. Sal & his family are great friends. The food is outstanding. Love this place!!!
My friends and I are visiting different Pizza Shops every weekend to support local business and to find the ultimate pizza. We... judge on three categories Crust, Sauce and cheese. This shop hit the mark on two of the three categories. Cheese and Crust were5 out of 5 with the sauce stopping this pizza from scoring a perfect score although it was far from terrible with a strongshowing of 4.1 out of 5. We order a plain Neapolitan pizza at each shop so the baseline is the same for each shop wevisit. Crust was thin and well done but not burnt. Thin enough that you needed to fold to take the first bite. The edge crustwas small and good enough to make sure you didn't leave it on the plate. The amount of sauce was perfect considering thethinness of the crust and was proportional to the cheese. The sauce was some what bland and needed a lil of something tocompliment the quality of crust and cheese. Although the cheese scored high among the 6 who scored this visit there could havebeen another pinch or two for some who ate. The grease was noticeable but with another pinch or two of cheese could haveincreased the yummy cheese grease. After enjoying the test pizza we decided to dig deeper into the menu. We ordered the ChickenParmigiana Pizza, deep fried jalapeño poppers and garlic knots. The knots and poppers were good but the Chicken ParmigianaPizza was amazing. If this shop had beer it would definitely be a spot to stop for a slice while out for a ride on the Harleys. Read more
I give them five stars. the food is good family atmosphere. I'm not a big fan of the cheese blend that a lot of pizza shops use... anymore. Seems like same thing here. I'm no expert but . That's my opinion. Read more
Ordered a large pepperoni pie, it was absolutely delicious! We don't live in the area, just driving through and decided to stop.... The restaurant was clean and the counter girl was very nice. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area again. Read more
Sure am glad that sub shop in Jim Thorpe didn't allow on site dining because this place is the bomb. Ordered a large Steak... Special & fry to split with hubby, the portions for the price is amazing. The sub was overflowing with tender steak, mushrooms,onions & sweet peppers on a fresh baked roll, the sauce was sheer perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy onthe inside and served piping hot and bonus points for the pickles. The staff is super friendly and there's lots of room to dineinside. We're visiting the area for the weekend and will most definitely stop back before heading home. We stopped by Saturdaynight for takeout - Stuffed Shells that came with bread & an Antipasto Salad for $12, everything was absolutely delicious andhuge portions once again. Read more
I grew up on this place. Excellent pizza. Average prices. Everything from there is good. Delivery times are good. Their stuffed... shells are awesome. They give you four. Instead of 3 like most places. Good menu, pretty big. Service is good and friendly. I'vehad friends move out of the area that miss it. When they come back they always must have Marco's. Excellent pizza and everythingelse. Highly recommended. Of the 5 pizza places that deliver to me, Marco's is the best. The others are good too. But they arenot Marco's. Read more
Just passing through the area and stopped for lunch. Their pizza is excellent ! Actually it was perfect. It was easy to bite and... easy to chew. I have false teeth and this feature is important to me. The crust was great and it had the right amount of sauceand cheese. Will definitely make an effort to return. Read more
