Not only was the food great and our to-go order correct and done on time but Micah V, who took our order, was so helpful. She... kindly answered all my questions and was just so friendly. We will definitely be back! Read more

I was driving the Chicago ?? WI ?? MN route Sunday and decided if I wanted Chicago pizza, I better pull off on the outskirts... before hitting real city traffic. True to other reviews, the waitress told me to sit down, handed me a menu and said order atthe cash register. Not a big deal given staff issues, though my presence definitely interrupted the other girls chatting upfront. When I went up front to add something to my order, I inconveniently interrupted their conversation about a tattoo one wasplanning. I honestly just figured all of their personalities were more an "eastern US" attitutde than Midwest politeness since Iwas in a new city, until I read the other reviews. Three people standing up front just talking and 3 tables in the restauranttotal definitely didn't make the "too short staffed for table service" reasoning look good. My garlic bread sampler wasdelicious especially the one similar to bruchetta. The one that was just garlic bread was super dry and side sauce cost morethan $1 but it was good sauce. Then the personal pizza came out and it tasted amazing. Lots of flavors in the 1st bite, hot, etc. My personal waitress, the blonde, *did* help me find a table with an outlet for my phone charger and did ask if I wantedparmesean, asked if everything tasted good, etc, so props to her for the good customer service. She was also who stopped thechitchat to help me the times I went up to the counter. Read more

Really cool place, first time I tried a deep dish and Beggars did not disappoint! Very generously made loaded down with toppings... and sauce, the crust is handmade and I would challenge anyone to finish a deep dish by themselves in a single sitting. Decorappears to be an old theater, which is really cool and a touch of creepy. Would definitely stop in again when I'm in town.Plenty of parking in the back of the building. Read more

I recently dined in with a friend who sprained his wrist and luckily it wasn't his ankles that were injured. While I must say... that the quality of food remains superb (as pictured, the pizza was delicious and delivered to the table smoking hot) i cannotsay I am a fan of the dine-in experience. Be warned: You will be given a menu and told to find a table yourself. Then, you mustgo back to the counter to place the order and pay upfront. Also, no more cups of refreshment...you will be required to buy abottle of pop. Then, you sit down and will never see the wait staff again unless it's to bring your food. I thank Odin thatneither of us is wheelchair bound... Read more

Went to try the gluten free pizza. The pizza was great. Definitely the best gluten free crust I?ve had so far. The customer... service threw me off. The lady behind the cashier put my pizza on the table in front of me and walked off. I told her thank youbut of course she didn?t hear me. I asked the cashier for pepper and Parmesan and he threw the packed on top of the box like hehad an attitude. I told him thank you as well and he said next customer. Horrible customer service. Pizza was good and salad?.. This why I gave the four stars. But the customer service and the fact they make you tip them a... certain amount. Weird. They want you to place your order at a counter and still tip someone to put the food on the table andlater have to flag them down if you need anything else additional. No more pitchers 1.99 a bottle pop! Wow. Beggars I wrote thereview not to criticize but to commend you on the salad and pizza?but also give you a suggestion for things that could use someimprovements. Thank you for serving the community please check into Better customer service skills and fair pricing withcondiments as my request for an extra dressing was 2.00 just bout too. For the amount of salad the dressing you give was notenough. Thank you! Read more

Ive ordered on several occasions from this location. I ordered 5 pizzas for my birthday party. Came to pick them up and asked... one of the 7 people behind the counter if they could help. Not one even attempted to help me walk out to the car, they were all"too busy" & "don't offer curbside assistance". So I took all 5 boxes, $158 worth of pizzas and carried them down the longhallway, and down the sidewalk to my car. As i grabbed the stack of boxes, i walked past a man who was also trying to figure outwhy he was charged extra for sauce. The customer service is gone. The pizzas were Just OK. I will never buy anything from hereagain. I will be going to Aurelios in South Holland, or the Beggars in Harvey from now on. Read more
