Sunday night around 9:30 pm....my husband spent $26.00 on food for two. The food was not good. Potato oles were old and greasy.... And the order was missing nacho cheese. Very disappointing...I won't be wasting my money there again. Read more

Stopped at Taco John's Drive-thru to pick up lunch for my parents on our way to visit at my mom's request, which surprised me!... Never knew they had ever had it. She wanted taco salads! I've been going since I could drive (1982), and have always orderedSuper Nachos, extra meat and Potato Olés. This day was no exception. Everything was a little different than I recalled, butit's probably been 10-20 years since I've been here, and everything changes, sooner or later. Drive-thru had no cars in front ofus so we were able to order immediately. 10 minutes later...we were on our way. Potato Olés were hot and the best thing in thebag that day. Didn't get my type 1 diabetic son's food, drove 20 minutes home to figure that out, my son had already taken his insulin for his... food at that point. Tried to call so I could get his meal at a later date and just make him something quick but they don'tbother to answer the phone...so I had to fly back up there to get his food. I get people make mistakes but come on, you can'teven answer a phone? I'm a nurse and busy with patients all day but still can answer a phone. I was all excited too, I haven'tbeen to Taco John's since I was a kid before the one in my home town went out of business but if that's the incompetence of thisone, I'll stick to Taco Bell for a fast taco. This is the first time I have been here (we do not have Taco Johns where I am from) and I said thais prior to ordering my food.... I ordered and got to the window and wasn't even greeted. The woman opened the window and looked disgusted that there wasactually a customer at her window. When giving me my drinks she just said "HERE!" in a super rude tone. I was given my food bagsby another woman who looked equally as thrilled. I caught her off guard when I sarcastically said how friendly the staff wasthere. She asked me if I had everything and I told her I really hoped so and told her I hope her and the staff have a betterday. I was missing an entire order, but didn't care enough to go back and be a "burden" for them again. I understand staffingeverywhere sucks and I am a very patient person, but the treatment I recieved was unneccessary especially when I am a brand newcustomer to the chain. Read more
Loaded potato olés!!! New favorite!! I couldn?t finish them all in one meal so I put them in an aluminum foil mini-casserole... pan and threw them in the fridge and next meal preheated oven to 450, tossed in the pan for 5-10 min.. it came out better thanthe day before! Last 2 times the food didn?t taste as good and the portions looked a little smaller... just my opinion.
