My Uncle passed away on 11/14/22 and on accident I placed an order trying to figure out food for his Celebration of Life on... 11/19/22. Not only did they refund our money but gave us food for my uncle's celebration and then some. It is businesses likethis that make this world a better place! Went to order, doors were locked when the store was open. Used the drive thru, and was told that speaker system wasn?t working.... Finally at the window, the person taking the order informed us online orders only and it was going to be a two hour wait. Shealso informed us the doors were locked because someone had threatened staff with a gun. It was obvious from her demeanor and I?mnot blaming her, that the location was not prepared due to management issues. This used to be a great place to get food. My wifeand I used to come here frequently, but service has tanked from a lack of investment and caring on behalf of management. Theyoung lady was nearly in tears over this and I feel badly for her and her coworkers. We may not be back after this. Read more
I ordered and paid for a meal online Monday September 5th. Pickup time said 7:45. I arrived at 7:56 pm to be told the very rude... store employee that they was closed and I would have to call the store the next day (today). When I called, they said they saidmy money would be returned in 7-10 business days but wouldn?t say how the system even knows I didn?t get my order. Then theyproceeded to say the general manager would be in in 2 hours, only to be told in 2 hours the GM was on vacation. Poorcommunication, haven?t gotten a call back, kept my money with no food. They deserve a ZERO. I am still waiting fr a refund ormessage that my money will definitely be refunded. The manager has not contacted me yet. First of all I think there food is great and my wife who is a vegetarian loves there three side meal; Mac and Cheese, Corn, and... Mashed Potato no gravy and she is a happy camper. Now the stuff is always nice there. But dam they are always under-staff. Iseen two people cover the kitchen and ordering during peak dinner hours and they ran out of food. I seen them close the registerbesides online order because the cashier went on vacation. With that said you might want to call in advance or order onlinebefore going. I hope that they find a way to hire additional employees and promote the ones they have because they come acrossas really hard workers in a hard situation. These negative reviews are ????! Went in a few weeks ago out of everything except ribs and staff let us stand in lobby for good... 20 min before acknowledging us. Called this evening to order pick up and they refused to do an order over the phone, had to doonline. Do online, out of turkey, spend almost $60, get half a rotisserie chicken that tasted about the same as the walmart onesbut was undercooked and no gravy for the mashed potatoes. They care zero about their customers. I would encourage you to eatLITERALLY anywhere else in Lansing. Go pick up the same stuff at the closest Walmart and save yourself the money and hassle. Nice place to stop for family style comfort food. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, macaroon and cheese and a corn muffin.... ???? it all hit the spot. Read more
I ordered a full slab and whole chicken. The ribs were over 21.00 and we only received 4 bones - very disappointing!
