Diane is a wonderful waitress that has always helped us when we come in, she always makes us feel right at home! We love coming... in and grabbing a bite to eat. The prices are a added bonus as well. You always get a fresh plateful of food. Definitely afamily favorite! Read more
The service was quick and friendly here, and I was super impressed by the menu. Most Coney Islands don?t have a huge selection... of griddle items (pancakes, French toast, etc), but this location does! I went with an omelette today, but was left feelingdisappointed with the potatoes that came with it. They were bland and not crispy at all. I wish they would offer regular hashbrowns or maybe diced breakfast potatoes instead, as these ones looked rather unappealing and didn?t taste very good. Read more

The food came out hot. The cheese sauce for the fries was cold. Things seems to move slow at Dan's Coney Island, took quite a... while for our food in a quiet restaurant. Good diner coffee, staff was fine, not overly attentive. Small and quiet place. Read more

I went there on a recommendation not really expecting much. Upon arrival, the parking was full and the restaurant was really... busy. There was a wide variety of patrons too...young and old, families with young children, etc. It felt like a neighborhoodgem. I ordered a half order of the raspberry custard french toast, the Dan's breakfast burrito, and an OJ. The french toast wasamazingly good. It was sweet, but overly so. The burrito was tasty, but a bit too much to handle because they stuff it withfresh home fries. The servers/wait staff were super friendly and attentive. The table was wiped off, but the floor underneathit could've used sweeping. I cannot ding them too much on that because they were extremely busy. I believe i got the country omelet with fried potatoes inside omelet, with their gravy on top. Mmmmmm mmmmm highly recommend... this place! Service was also on top of everything pretty quick for the group we had. Read more
