The atmosphere was Blah, then again it was early afternoon. The enclosed patio could use better seating and tables. Metal patio... furniture is uncomfortable and the tables are not for dining. The menu is completely online, this can be considered appropriateand cost effective, but it delivers a limited the visual affect of meal and drink choices. The food was well proportioned andtasty. Well trusted Mexican Fare restaurant. Long standing community favorite with multiple locations. Nothing like Taco Bell. Fresh... salsas and corn chips made in house daily. A step above the rest. A real treat to eat here. Read more
"Wait to be seated", but nobody is around to seat you... Took a hour for lunch. The food was okay, but the portion of actual... protein compared to the price seems unfair. The server never asked us how out food was. The menu said it included a dessert butwas never offered. Friendly, smiling staff, but it felt like we were being ignored by the server. Outdated menu with wrongprices. $1 extra for more chips, c'mon, you just charged us $6 extra because your prices changed. Strange operation... Read more
I will never eat here again. The resturant was near empty, and it took longer than it should've for someone to come out and seat... us. We saw a mouse running around the floors. The employees told us, "Someone brought that mouse in a day or two ago. We'll callthe maintenance man." Why not call an exterminator, and as soon as you find out you have mice--not the day after? Even our foodlooked dirty, if you can believe it! My wife's food looked like a bowl of pasta sauce, and she ordered enchiladas--It was justswimming in way too much sauce! Absolute mess. The staff was nice and courteous, but the dirty atmosphere and concerningpresentation of food was so very off-putting. This is the sort of place that would look concerning to a health inspector. The food was good but service was very slow. It took the server quite awhile to bring us some menus, even longer for getting our... drinks and food. She had said that they had a new cook but that wouldn?t explain why it took so long to bring the menus anddrinks. Loved the patio, though. Read more
I've been coming here for years, but sadly I won't be back. Service has been abysmal lately. I've had others' bills run on my... card, and it was no simple process to get that refunded. Orders are wrong, and the overly solicitous waitress brought uspitchers of ice and water (that we hadn't requested) to "make up" for not getting what we did order. Umm, how about bringing uswhat we ordered? My two out-of-town guests were on a schedule, and we reminded our waitress of this multiple times. Still, wewere there for three hours, waited a long time for food, and half the table was nearly finished eating while others stillwaited. As we were leaving, waitress came running out telling us she forgot to charge us for the cheese dip. I'd had to order itat least four times and had repeatedly asked that it go on my bill. Once again, overly solicitous waitress had to offer all theways she could possibly split the charge. I sent my pressed-for-time guests on without me, and silly me, I even put a decent tipon that cheese dip. Three of my last four visits, same waitress who calls us "beautiful" and is very pleasant, but she can'tremember an order. Read more
Don't let the location fool you - my family has been coming here for at least 35+ years, that I can remember. The new addition... outside in the back is wonderful. Heated for cooler days and some covered areas for rainy days. Great on a Michigan summerday. This location never lets me down (hands down better than East Lansing location). Aliana (not sure of spelling) is awonderful cook and person. The service and food has always been good. We get the CV burrito. Their salsa is delicious and pricesare not expensive. Read more
Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was fine. I don't drink, but I heard others say their drinks were good. Not a fan of the... steak Fajitas I had. Decent portion, but the steak had no seasoning and tasted like it steamed itself in the cooking process.The wife had cheese enchiladas and she said the sauce tasted like pizza sauce on them. Read more
