In town visiting Michigan State University with my daughter and we brought our small Chihuahua. Drove downtown to have a Cidre... and the Baja Fish Tacos and had just awesome service. The patio is safe for pets even though next to a road and there are placeswith shade and with sun for your preference. I?d go again! Read more

I worked with the owners Shawn and Keith to coordinate my wedding rehearsal dinner at Midtown, and was thrilled with a perfect... experience. Our servers did an excellent job taking care of my family and friends and the kitchen staff crafted delicious dishesas usual. We previously chose Midtown to celebrate my wife?s college graduation several years ago, and we had to come back hereto celebrate our marriage. I tasted the Midtown Stout the wife took the Raspberry Blonde (Grand Rapids?) both were good. Decent place, typical micto-brew... vibe, lots of taps (much more than I expected). What I don't like are uninspired appetizers. We've had these (exact) samepretzel bites in four different micro-breweries. It was listed as "soft-pretzel" and no mention of the French onion dip. Pretzelbites (from GFS) are NOT an $8.00 soft pretzel. And at least give me some beer cheese. Read more
First time visiting a brewery in Michigan hopefully the other ones offer a better dark beer. The beer from other breweries they... offer are way superior. So in other words if you you like dark beers go there to taste beer from other vendors and not theirown. But atmosphere and bartenders are very polite but they do not know very much about beer. Amazing experience at midtown. The pretzels with the garlic cream cheese sauce was amazing. I've been here twice and both times... I got a burger and added egg and bacon and it was phenomenal. My wife got a burger the first time and second time she got thefish tacos and everything we've had here is just been really really amazing.higher than expectations in terms of food qualitythey do great job here. Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Mid town for their exceptional service by our server Eddy on 10/19 . We had a group of 15... in for a retirement lunch and Eddy was amazing! The tables were all ready set up, water in pitchers already waiting for us. Eddywas attentive to our group, taking orders, filling waters and so kind and considerate! We had a great time and really appreciatemidtown and Eddy going the extra step to make it a great visit! I spent 15 years in restaurant management and I strongly believein giving credit and thanks ESP. Now a days ! Thanks so much for making it a great lunch! Read more
