The food is sub-pair at best, and when you look into the kitchen and around the restaurant you can see why.. there is no pride,... no passion, and no customers.. this company with their slop shops. Troppo's have become inconsequential and irrelevant . Thisis 4 days of wonderful homemade squash soup. (Burn by Chef Becky Jones). (See photes) the current head chef ( dan rey) menusare basic at best, you can see he(dan rey) has pick off other menu in the area and has fallen flat.. all (dan rey's) restaurants are empty (all) just because troppo's feeds the parasites of the Capital and House, didn't give (dan) clairvoyanceto the food scene on the east side of the state.. His standard is fast, fast, frozen, pre made and reheated... I appreciated inLincoln, Nebraska and everything I did was ???? from scratch.. I have won more awards then troppo's. Read more

Troppo wine poor (small pour) Longhorn poor (larger pour) Troppo cost $9.00 Longhorn cost $6.00 Similar wines. The bartender... was offended when I asked about the wine pour. What ever happened to common sense and courtesy requirements when hiring people. This restaurant needs to revisit how to make customers feel welcome. Customers are your life blood and with today?s socialmedia , staff should be extra kind and welcoming. Troppo is starting to get a reputation for treating the customers poorly. Read more

Great little spot to visit when in Downtown Lansing. Food is amazing, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed.... Not the cheapest place, but if you wander in here, that is not your goal. Read more

The waitress was very attentive and the staff was on top of our menu. We didn't drink, but I would recommend this place for only... food as well. This place seats 4 comfortable and can easily seat more. It is a modern sports bar for your modern food needs. Read more

I?ve never felt more welcome in a restaurant. Multiple members of their staff and even the chef checked on us! The Michigan... Avenue Martini mix was incredible the fruit is soaked in and piled on. I highly recommend the meatballs as an appetizer theflavor and tender care with which this recipe was created was an ultimate treat! My experience here was unforgettable and Icannot wait to return! The food was cooked to perfection. I never knew asparagus could be prepared so perfectly, it melted in my mouth. Service and... drinks were wonderful. We also had a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. A memorable experience. Read more

The atmosphere is great with wonderful views. The food was very subpart for the price. My braised short rib was slathered in... gravy and reminded me more of a piece of roast. The roast carrots were barely cooked. The presentation left much to bedeserved for a "high end" restaurant. My wife's scallops were cooked and seasoned great but the rest of the plate was belowexpectations. Read more
