We didnt do much but look around quick and then swim for about 3 hours. The kids loved how clear the water was. They loved... trying to catch fish with their hands. They wanted to do everything else but we just didnt fit it in. Next time we will startwith everything else and end with swimming. Wish there were more vendors onsite to fill the buildings. Only complaint is thereneeds to be a restroom or portajohn out by the water. My toddler had to pee and had my parents not been there to assist I wouldhave had to make a mad dash with all 4 kids ????. It was an okay lake to visit, but I wish the staff would be a bit more involved around the actual lake. There were two employees... up in a store like building and one came down every so often. But I think there should be more than just two around the lake.Probably walking around and making sure everything is running smoothly and helping out. No one told us were the fishing polescould be found, but we eventually found them by asking g uests there. I think there should also be a time limit on how long youcan take out a kayak or paddle boat. we waited over 30 minutes for one kayak. another thing you should know. in the gift shop,they put their price tags OVER the expiration date on different food packages. My dad bought something that was expired monthsago and he didn't notice because they put their price tag over it. That trick made me quite wary of going back. Read more

The food at the restaurant is Amish style and very good! If you're on a diet you might not want to eat here. ???? They give you... TONS of samples along with your meal; for example last time I was there we were given a plate of ribs, a piece of pie, some saltwater taffy, and chips with two different kinds of salsa. Very generous! The whole property is really impressive andmeticulously maintained. If you visit here once, you'll definitely want to go again. Read more
