Had the worse experience here over the weekend. I went with friends & our daughters & after ordering our appetizers, we all... decided to order the sandwiches & share pizza. The waiter comes to take our order & informs us that they were completely out ofany sandwiches. It was 730 pm on a Saturday, how were they already out? That’s so frustrating! So we decided to get 3 pies ofpizza which was fine. We were ready to order dessert & 4 out of the 6 people in our party wanted the S’mores cups. Guess what?They were out of that too. We decided to just leave & get dessert somewhere else. But the worse part of it all was the next day,2 of us who only ate the clam pizza got food poisoning from it. It was absolutely horrible. We were here for dinner the other night. The menu wasn't quite as diverse as I recall, it's most just a pizza restaurant - I had... remembered something closer to a bistro that also had pizza. In any case, Wow! The detroit-style pizza here is exceptional.With the proper grease cup style pepperoni. Everyone wanted more. They also have a few nice salads with a few protein options(chicken, shrimp). Someone at the table had the crispy chicken on what looked something like a salad Nicoise. It great. Was in town for a flag football tournament, had 2 hrs to kill and found this place in walking distance - what a dope little... surprise! Good quick bites, solid cocktails. Highly recommend the ricotta appetizer and figgy pizza with one of their crushes.It's not fast food tho so prepare to sit and relax for a bit even if they are on the slower side. Read more
For the short version- This place is awesome- highly recommend dining with them, help support local business and definitely book... them for your next private event!! The long version: I have eaten here several times before and always had a wonderfulexperience- my family and I love the food, drinks and atmosphere- it's a really cute place! In the summer, they have a niceoutdoor seating area and in the winter they have cute looking igloos to sit in. It is a perfect family spot to go to forlunch/dinner because there is a nice park with a playground right next to the restaurant. And it makes for a romantic datenight. Mainly writing this review to highly recommend everyone to cater/host your private event at their restaurant. I hosted ababy shower there last week and it truly was such a great experience. I looked into several other venues/restaurants, but Billyand Pete's and their manager, Nina, was the most accommodating, down to earth, and easy to work with. Nina always returned mycalls and answered all the questions I had. I like how they work with whichever budget you have and are very understanding andnot pushy. I had to make so many changes with my event but Nina was always understanding and patient with me. For thoseconcerned about dining with the risk of getting Covid, I had several people in my party concerned prior to the event, but theywere at ease because the restaurant has an air purifier in the indoor dining area. There are also a lot of windows around, so wewere able to crack open the windows for more air flow. And since we expressed our concern about covid, they made sure our serverwould have her mask on. Our server, Selena, was very attentive throughout the party and made sure our food came out hot when wewere ready to eat. What a great place! A concert in the park across the street made our dining even better. All options, Meat eaters, Gluten... free, Vegan, Vegetarian are all available options. You can't beat the atmosphere, we ate outside comfortably. Delicious pizza;the blistered pepper appetizer is so good, their funky avocado was scrumptious! One of the best ???? dishes I've had in a longtime. We're beer drinkers but saw nice looking cocktails being served. We'll go back if we get a chance, we are visitors tothis nice area if New York. We started our meals with the Orange crush and the Moscow Mule. Both drinks were absolute 10/10s and I’m excited for the next... time I can have that orange crush! Then we got the pepperoni cup pizza (half real pep, half vegan pep) and that was BEYOND goodwith all of the flavors. We got the tipsy grandma pizza as well and that was also full of flavor! Absolutely would recommendtrying any of their Detroit style pizzas. We finished off the night with the donut/ice cream combo and it was the perfect endingto our meals. Had a very enjoyable lunch here last weekend on Sunday. It was pretty empty at around 3pm and given that it was a nice day,... every group was sitting outside. Their menu is a mix of salads, sandwiches, pizza (two styles) and a handful of appetizers andsides. The lemonesco ricotta pizza was a little too strange for my taste but everything else was really good. The other pizzas,meatballs and trap'wich all make me want to come back here soon! Read more
