Ordered the rack of lamb that was listed on menu as 10oz. I understand that it is the weight with bone in. But then list is as... a French cut lamb chop and not a rack. Barely four bones and not even 2oz of edible meat. Just sad. And the so called 16oz ofKing Crab. Drinks were good and it’s always nice to have warm sourdough bread brought to your table. Just too many negativesfor a restaurant that is described as “fine dining”. This is no way close. Safe bet is to order steak and keep it simplewith ordering medium or well. Read more

Wow, is all I can say. Our server was okay. Lacking knowledge of presentation and quality but attentive. The kitchen though.... Sad, very sad. Rack of lamb. 10oz. Served 6 oz. Told that was the pre cooked weight. Lol. The meat was the size of a halfdollar. King crab. 16oz. Served two shriveled legs cut down the middle and not even cut at the joints. So bad. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious! The service was impeccable as well. 10/10 would HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying if you have time. We... had a party of 7 and the waiter made sure everyone was completely satisfied. Very great service. Don't forget to make yourreservations! Read more

Ambiance is nice, the restaurant is small, only 12 tables. Very intimate feel. I can't believe I've been coming to Grand Falls... for 8 years and tonight was the first time I've eaten here. The drink menu is expansive and the drinks we tried (Royal Flushand Ruthie's Grand Old Fasion) were excellent! We got the French Onion and Lobster Bisque soups as starters and they were bothamazing and filling. The portions are massive, so don't be afraid of the prices on the menu. My husband ordered the Surf & Turfand he devoured it! It looked delicious. I ordered the Short Rib. I did not enjoy the short rib as much as my husband enjoyedhis food. It was dry and reminded me of a pot roast I can make at home for considerably less money. We also got the family sideof brocollini. It was a little underdone but still delicious. Our server was the perfect amount of attentive, we had what weneeded when we needed it and he otherwise left us alone to be together. Read more

We used to love dining here. I think we are finally done trying. Our server was new. Not a problem, we have both been in the... service industry and completely understand. When my other half ordered the steak special, she said she didn't know what it was,but assured us she would figure it out. What he received was a steak (cooked correctly, at least) on a plate. Juice splatteredon the plate, none of the seasoning/rub nor accompianents for the special. When questioned, she said, OH, the May special. Iguess I didn't realize that! I ordered a lobster tail. ???? It arrived with no melted butter and it was cold to the touch. Sherefilled our water and then took 20 minutes to remember the melted butter. I explained that it was cold. 15 minutes later I gotmy meal back. The sides were no longer warm, my partner had finished his steak and couldn't even get a second drink. There wasno offer of dessert and our check was dropped off. We intended to use some of our food credit and pay the rest. She took ourcards, used comp from our cards and brought them back with someone else's receipt in our folder. We gave up. Our server'sparting words were...I hope you have a better night. Apparently the fantastic manager that was there is gone and the restaurantpart has been sold. We can't justify the prices for the food when the quality and service is so low. We used to rave aboutRuthie's to everyone and would take people there for special occasions. Now we will have to ensure that we retract therecommendations. I'm so sad it has turned out this way. Out of 6 of us no one was satisfied with the dinner. Husbands steak came out way overcooked, so he had to wait until everyone... was nearly done eating before he got his steak the right way. The "Garlic" potatoes had no hint of garlic to them. The herbchicken was dry and plain in flavor. Very disappointed. The people we ate with I've never heard them complain about anywherewe've ate in 8 years but days later STILL talking about how disappointing this place was and why. Read more

First time trying out Ruthie's and it did not disappoint. The chislic was so tender, the garlic mashed potatoes were so so... creamy and good. And that steak was *chef's kiss*. Waiter heard it was my birthday and I got a free cheesecake so that was niceof them! Worth every penny! Read more

We had the special which was a fillet of beef with asparagus and hollandaise sauce drizzled over a small lobster. The shell of... the lobster was stuffed with crab cake filling. The steak was cooked perfectly. Fresh bread with herb butter and seasoned oliveoil was served with the wedge salad that we split. The cocktails were excellent: sidecar martini and a blackberry bourbon smash.Ruthies is expensive for our area, but the quality compares to food served only at high end restaurants in larger cities. Inthose places, these prices would be a bargain. Read more
