For those who ask why I usually give five star ratings for restaurants, it is because I try to rate them for what they are. I... would never compare a Luby's to Michelin star restaurant, so I rate it as a fast food ready to eat place to dine. The food isalready there buffet style, except it is served to you, and charged according to the plate. It's not all you can eat. So ifyou're in a hurry, it's a great place to eat. It is usually packed at midday because of this. And although you carry your ownplate, be kind and leave a couple of dollars for the staff. Read more

Luby?s is always the same. It?s been the same for a long period of time. If you want homemade food it?s the option. It?s classic... Mac and cheese it?s always good, the mashed potatoes is good also. Most reviews must be fake. I?ve had my orders cancelled numerous times due to missing items only to have wasted 30 minutes of my... time waiting and complaining to door dash. I understand Covid had an impact on staffing but come on. Managers conveniently don?tanswer phone calls. Terrible customer service and not what Luby?s once was. If you cannot update your menu on a daily basis thenyou should not falsely advertise your menu. The customers are the ones who loose out on time and are left scrambling for food.Will call corporate.
