At first they looked at each other wondering who was going to sit us down, and when they did, they took 15 minutes to serve us,... because they completely forgot about us, until I called someone who very carefully took our order and from then on everythingflowed quickly; The food was delicious and the dessert was free, as an apology for forgetting us at the beginning???? Was a bit disappointed at my food because I have heard great things about the restaurant. I ordered a steak quesadilla and Boom... boom shrimp because I was on a time crunch to get back to work. Appetizers are probably the worst food to judge a restaurant butI would think a steak restaurant would have an amazing steak quesadilla. I will be back to try entrees and give big Jim?sanother opportunity but for now was not very impressed. Boom boom portion was not great only got 4 shrimp for 12.99. Thequesadilla was the biggest disappointment, I thought a steak place would have an amazing steak quesadilla with good big chunksof steak cooked nicely. But instead I got some kind of meat that kind of looks like cat food. I?m not usually the type to leavea review but was so disappointed because the restaurant is hyped up and has amazing photos etc. The staff was very nice,restaurant was clean and has great atmosphere, but for now was disappointed. We went for ribeye well he said why don?t you try the tails instead cause he knows how much I love lobster. So we had the ... Potato skins which were good I ordered the twin tails which were very good No complains. Then he ordered the prime rib which Ihad before usually it is a nice cut but this one too bad very fatty?. Well he didn?t say anything because he didn?t want tocomplain? If it was me I would have sent it back I was very surprised ???? Zoom in on the pictures & you can see it!! Seminole Sunrise Burger and a special App Sampler. The Sampler consisted of Jalapeños wrapped in Bacon, Onion Rings and... Mushrooms. The Jalapeños were cut in half, filled with Cream Cheese and wrapped in Bacon. The Bacon was not crispy enough andchewy. The Onion Rings were a little too thick (preference issue only). The Mushrooms were tasty. The only issue with the AppSampler was too expensive for what it was $17.99 and way too greasy. The Burger would have been way better had it been cooked alittle more. I will go back to try a Burger again but will skip the App Sampler. Read more
Met my cousin & his wife here for lunch on 11/10/2021 while on vacation in St Pete Beach. Pub with a relaxing feel. Friendly... staff. Many choices of beers & menu items. I choose The Beef and Weck sandwich plate with macaroni & cheese. Large portions &so delicious. Read more

I loved the Big Jim?s steak and cheese back when it was on Ulmerton. Now it?s big and fancy with a cozy and friendly vibe. I... tried a taco Tuesday special, I know weird choice but I was curious. They were good! Three tacos, there was a pork and slaw,ground beef with lettuce and cheese and a shredded chicken with mango salsa. They have a great big hamburger which is veryreasonably priced.
