Omg, the cheesecake!!! It is very very good! Also, if you like REAL Key Lime Pie, it's the BEST & I don't like Key Lime Pie! The... owner is an awesome & very friendly lady who is fun to talk to! At Thanksgiving, they do 600+ pies...in just a couple of days,pre-ordered! They survived the pandemic, but still aren't quite back up to where they were, so I hope my (& everybody else's)reviews will help them get back to normal & then some! Largo Legendary eatery. The Pie Factory is everything I was told. All I can say is you better get in there while the 43 year... magician is still there making these goods. She is 83 years young and when she retires her heart and souls is the secretingredient of these tasty desserts. She posed for a picture with some happy customers that I was able to take. Now on to the myhonest review. When you enter the door and see the presentation of baked goods can throw you into sensory overload. My mouthliterally was watering. I was told about the different sections because I was first time customer. If you can't eat sugar theyhave a NSA (No Sugar Added)menu. I am a lover of fresh fruit pies so I chose the Sampler. It contained Apple, Blueberry, Cherryand Peach. It was delicious. A French Silk pie was also bought. My brother-in-law when he bit into Silk pie his eyes rolledback into his head. It was so good he threatened violence if the pie was messed with in any way. She bakes a batch of 15 Monstercookies at a time. We were there for a fresh out the oven batch. Ordered three pies from them for a girls trip and bday celebration while on vacation. We got key lime, chocolate meringue and... coconut crème de la crème and all were fantastic and honestly very reasonably priced ($15-20 each) for a full specialty pie.They were all crowd pleasers! Amazing! Best Key Lime Pie n Peanut Butter Pie both were fantastic! The key lime is wonderful! It was sweet n tart but not... overpowering of either. The texture is perfect n crust was fresh n so good! We have tried Key Lime all around FL n this was thebest we?ve had. Also the cheesecake was very good. This is very old Florida style restaurant, it was cute and clean and the staff very nice. I had broccoli soup which was good... and we had pie. I had the famous Key Lime and my husband had Peach Berry. They were both good,I was hoping for the Key Lime tobe the best I ever had but it was just good IMO. I love Key Lime and try it every where we travel in Florida. We had a good timeand glad we went, the case of desserts were impressive and looked delicious...I wish I had tried the Peanut butter pie, itlooked heavenly. Read more
