I wanted to echo what the prior reviewer said. I am one to pay more for nutritious, high-quality food. SunLife Organic's... prices are unusually high, but I would be happy to pay those if the food measured up, but this is not that! Twice that I haveordered avocado toast, it has been burned and the avocados not ripe ($12 for that??). Twice that I have ordered carryout fromthis place (once via doordash, and once sent my husband to pick it up), they have omitted items from the order (once a bonebroth, once a green juice... costing me an extra $11 each time). It makes me question the quality of other ingredients goinginto the food if they can't pay attention to the most basic of details. And then there's the acai bowls... they're terrible. Service was rude and non accommodating when I asked about calorie and carbohydrate intake per shake, love this place but on a... special diet. No information was made available or questions answered even after disclosing why this information was important.Previous service was delightful, friendly and helpful. Please choose your service employees carefully. A rude interaction at afavorite spot is a turn off. Read more
I am not normally the type of person to write a review- actually I haven?t written one ever before. I have lived in Marin for my... whole life and was excited to try SunLife. Once I got there I realized the prices where unusually high. However, I am the typeof person to pay the money if the quality of the product is up to par with the prices. But, it wasn?t. My friend ordered asmoothie (which she said she had gotten once before) and it was completely liquid- the consistency of water. In fact, thetoppings on top actually floated to the bottom. She asked for a new one but the staff responded with ?it?s just the spinach.? Iwas utterly confused. I then received my smoothie after a 15 minute or so wait. But, mine was the exact opposite. Nothing wasblended- in fact, there was still a full banana in my smoothie. As I was waiting for my smoothie to come out, I noticed a lot ofother smoothies being made where the same liquid consistency and some other people where coming in too, to complain. Overall, Iwouldn?t recommend going to this smoothie shop for three main reasons- unhelpful staff, poor quality food, and the unreasonablyhigh prices. Other places that I have tried in the past that have more reasonable prices, helpful staff and produce very goodfood are Juice Girl in Mill Valley, Ohana Bowls, Pressed Juice (also in the Marin Country Mart), Nektar, and so many more. Woah woah woah! Sunlife changed my l i f e ! Get the mint chip shake and sub the banana for coconut ???????? Its the b e s t !... And the staff is so sweet.
