Chips and salsa were the best part of our visit. The service was ridiculously poor and the final bill was unbelievable. The... prices on the menu do not match the prices you are charged. Beans and rice are extra, smothering a burrito is extra and so areadditional chips and/or salsa. They also tack on a 3% charge they do not disclose when paying with a credit card. A smothersburrito with rice and beans ended up being $20. Never again! We can get a decent steak and service for that. Read more

Gross gross gross! Mostly ethically! Even the Mexican restaurants in mesilla don?t charge what this mediocre restaurant charges.... I was also charged a convenience fee for using a card?? I?ve lived here my entire life and will DEFINITELY be telling everyonenot to go to either location ever again. If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. This is 100000% the owners being cheapand disgusting! Overcharging for food and it does NOT match an 8% inflation rate, they?re charging over $2 additionally to tryand make financial gain during this period. May karma reach you quickly! This town is too small to be shady since we all knowwho you are Bobby! Read more

This place was great! We went for the Chilitos sliders, but they weren't on the menu. We asked our waitress (shout out to Iasia)... who went back and asked, and they made them for us! OUT OF THIS WORLD!! They were good and spicy hot! So, definitely havesomething to drink. If you like it hotter, it comes with a side of jalapeño ranch! Pictured and recommended is the ChilitosMargarita and Spiked Limeade. Both were delicious. Plenty of seating, friendly servers. We will definitely go back the next timewe are in Las Cruces. Let me start out by saying Food was Delicious. Unfortunately, when we walked in, hostess was not very friendly. Asked how many.... Ee said two, she rushed to a table, tossed the menus on table, didn't even wait for us, and walked away. They weren't verybusy. The waitress that served us was very apologetic and was on the ball. I wish I knew the waitress name. She definitely didher job with a smile on her face Read more

Well well well..... What a disappointment ???? for the second time we were let down by the service and from when you walked in... the door. I asked a waitress excuse me and was totally ignored. Because to find out our waitress left was never told us until a waiter came to tell us that she left and he was going to wait on us. This guy was a good waiter. And to make it wore the ownerwas here eating with his family you would think that the employee's would be on top of there stuff but nope. But the food wasgood. We will driver across town to go to the one one foothills. Way better service there. Read more

I love Chilitos Restaurant. I like both locations. I was at valleys location today. Ordered a plate of gorditas with salsa and... tortilla chips on the side to go. Gorditas were stuffed with plenty of meat. Absolutely the best each and every single time. Thesalsa is my hands down favorite so far here in Las Cruces. I have gone dozens of times. Can't wait to get a nice margarita nexttime. The young man that took my order at valley July 8, 2022 in the afternoon was a delight. So friendly and treated us well.Great job. Always will be back for more deliciousness. Keep it up. Read more

This restaurant was a pleasant sirprise! After being on a drivi g trip for a few days now it was a welcome change to NOT eat... fast food. I ordered the create your own combo. So every Mexican restaurant that I have ever been to I have to order the chilerellenos and an enchilada. There chile relleno is inmy all time top 3! It was amazing. They covered my enchiladas and rellenowith their homemade red chile. There red and green chile is outstanding. Their homemade chips and salsa were also prettyimpressive. They don't have a "traditional" sit at bar but you can get beer, wine and margaritas. I had 2 yummy margaritas! Iwish I lived here so I could come back and try the rest of the menu. This is a great stop off the I-10 Read more

I happened upon this cozy little place many years ago during a cross country trip, and I have to agree with many others that the... salsa is fantastic! I came back through again on another long journey and tried to stop in, but it had just closed, and I wasso sad because all I could think about was that salsa. Fortunately, the salsa is available to order online. Another UPDATE -We were able to go back again, September 2021, and the food was even better than I remember, and they have expanded! The placeis huge compared to the tiny little joint it was when I first discovered it. So glad they are doing well, especially throughthe pandemic. Oh, and I bought three jars of salsa to take with me. Read more
