I almost felt like giving them 1*star. I placed an order over the phone at 6:05 and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes... and when I arrived to their store they didn't even start my order or even placed it at all ??????????????? like come on youcan't be so busy you forget to make an order. i ORDERED MY FREE BIRTHDAY COOKIE, AND IT WAS DELIVERED TO SOMEONE ELSE, AND OF COURSE BY THAT TIME I REALIZED THEY WERE CLOSED.
We ordered several items online for pick-up. Papa John's has always been one of our go tos, however, this time we were very... disappointed. We always get the same thing so we know how good it can be, but today it was not. We ordered green chile baconcheese sticks. It was wet and soggy because they forgot to add the green chile before they ran them through the oven, and addedit after they had been baked. The green chile was cold and wet and ruined the whole thing. This was horrible! We had alsoselected in our order to have a square cut on our thin crust and it was not. Have had carry out before, but recently had delivery on two pizzas. Both right and delicious. ???? Very fast delivery. I had... no internet so I called it in. Main office had computer problem, suggested I call store, apologised. I did, polite, caring guyanswered. I asked to have tip added to credit card total, but when my statement arrived, no tip was billed !!! I'm horrified!!! ????Poor girl, nice, polite, friendly, and quick delivery, got stiffed, not my fault !!! Hope I can get a tip to hersomehow. Hope she still works there and delivers mine again, so I can tip her in person. I usually don't keep cash around myhome. Hope she didn't think I was a jerk. I called the curbside service phone number when I arrived. I hit the option 2 button. It said my pizza was ready so I wrongfully... assumed someone would bring it out. It said it was ready for 15 minutes. I walked in but didn?t have a mask, the staffimmediately told me to leave because I didn?t have a mask? which is why I called the curbside service number to begin with. Itried to explain I have been calling for like 20 minutes but they weren?t listening. You either do curbside or you don?t. I love Papa John's Pizza, but just ordered a small pie with onions and other ingredients. There was literally about 4 slices of... onion on the pizza (if that). It was really disappointing. So I called to let them know I wasn't happy and was told this wasportion control for a small pie. The person I spoke to wasn't sympathetic to my disappointment at all and just kept repeatingthat it was small pie so no real onion put on it (their idea of 'portion control'). I did pay for that onion and I feel PapaJohn's has a lot of nerve to skimp on an ingredient to that degree. I've never been to Road Runner Pizza, but rest assured, thatis where I will go from now on. Unprofessional driver contacted me after the delivery which is so unprofessional and as a delivery driver myself i would have... never have done that unless the customer asked for something related to their delivery which i did not do, and quite frankly, itfelt insulting what was sent. when i called the store the manager just told me something about not answering calls which ididn?t get a call i had told her i had to go out into the middle of the road no call happened. i don?t wanted to be textedsomething that insults me after the fact when im eating my food and then treated like my privacy doesn?t matter.
