Tasty food overall, but expensive prices and small portions make it hard to justify coming more than once. I had always heard... great things about this place from friends, so I came in with somewhat higher expectations that usual. The service andatmosphere was really nice which I enjoyed. We ordered the grapefruit salad and 2 orders of beet gnocchi (pictured). The foodwas very good and flavorful, although I was somewhat unsatisfied with the portion sizes being so small. My friend and I sharedthe salad, and both of us only got 3 bites before it was gone. Also, an $18 plate of food that didn't include a side was hard tojustify as well. Although our server was super sweet and the atmosphere was nice, I wish that portions were bigger for theprice. We still enjoyed ourselves but were a bit let down in the end. My Husband and I went out for a Date Night, and we were NOT disappointed! The drinks were great, the food was fantastic and the... service was AMAZING! Point on! From the moment we pulled in the cutest place. Such a fresh and cozy spot. The staff is attentive and knows about all... items on the menu. The food OMG! Delicious! So fresh and yummy. They have a garden with fresh herbs, they use in all of therefoods. We had the smoked turkey sandwich with home made potato chips special. So amazing!!!! Read more
Went by after a few months of seeing it online, it was better than I could have expected. Our server, Mercedes, was friendly and... ready with anything we may have needed (refills, clearing dishes, recommendations, compliments when we had a little photo shoottoo lol). I first discovered Willow+Blaine through Google maps. I'm visiting from Los Angeles so I'm always interested in going to unique... restaurants. After talking to some locals they recommended it a second time so I had to go. Oh my goodness was it fantastic.My waitress recommended the avocado toast (which I generally never order from a restaurant) and I paired it with an espressomartini. It was delicious! And the martini was made to perfection with my favorite espresso liquor. For "dessert" I had her getme a half order of the carrot cake french toast and to have the bartender surprise me with a matching cocktail and again, heoverly delivered! I've read the reviews of this place and I'm sorry some experiences were less than ideal, but I've been tosome of the nicest restaurants in the world and for being in a small town, Willow + Blaine is a marvelous addition. What an Amazing Restaurant to have here in LC. The ambiance is wonderful, the food is outstandingly delicious and the staff are... Rockstars. We were so happy with our brunch. We went for brunch. Everything was good. Got the brie, French toast, and steak and eggs. Best chefs in Las Cruces.
We had an amazing dinner. The manager, Justin and our server, Nat went above and beyond. They made our dining experience next... level!!!! The food was delicious. We had the beer can quail.
