Friendly, clean and VERY tasty. Prices were good for this area. I tried the tacos - one each of the chicken, carne asada and... fish. All were delicious! They are possibly slightly heavy-handed with the salt, but it didn't get in the way of enjoying thefood. The homemade chips and homemade salsas were also delicious. I definitely recommend this non-chain, family-run gem. Read more

Visited Buena Vista Kitchen for the first time today. I was excited to try it as it?s not far from my home, and in a great... location. We were seated on the patio in 108 degree weather. There was no fan near us, no mist etc. When the party near the onlyfan on the patio left, one would have expected someone to move it near us since we were just seated for lunch, no one bothered. We were boiling hot plus had to ask for water refills several times. We had to ask for chips and salsa and when the basketarrived it was literally like 7 chips and a tiny container of salsa. I am used to a huge basket of chips, two large containersof salsa and a full water glass at all times. Great chips and salsa is one of the best parts of a Mexican restaurant for most ofus. When our meals were served, my plate had a hair in it. I sent it back and my friends continued with their lunch. By thetime my replacement dish arrived, my friends were finished with thier lunch. A credit, an apology, or some sort ofacknowledgment would have been a nice gesture. We continued to ask for water throughout the meal which was disappointingconsidering its 108 degrees outside and there was no mist or fans to keep us cool. I don?t think this place should seat peopleon the patio in summer until they have made better provisions for their guests. A nice big bowl of chips and fresh salsa shouldbe offered to all guests as that is a typical expectation at a Mexican restaurant, especially with Margaritas. The food wasgood, the presentation could have been better. I am hopeful that this review helps this business as the location is fantasticand I would like to try it again at some point. Read more

Great food. VERY good prices. They accidentally forgot to take our order so we waited a long time but they were very apologetic... and kind which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back! Read more

Found Buena Vista Kitchen by accident. Loved the charming outdoor dining patio (only offers outdoor dining). I was planning on... only ordering coffee and a small side but after seeing the menu, I decided to get the green chilaquiles. One of the very bestversions I?ve ever had. Coffee was great, too. Met Manny, the chef. Manny and his staff were all great. Looking forward tocoming back for the French toast. Read more

Being on the lake and named Buena Vista, which i think translates to GOOD VIEW, one would think its got a good view. Yes.....of... the parking lot. Typical Mexican food. Nothing special. Ordered a burrito. It was ok. That drink was good. Read more

Truly delicious carne asada. Everything is cooked to order, delivered fresh and piping hot to the table. Both the red and green... sauces were stellar. Portion sizes are generous and everyone was so friendly. Read more
