I think the most important thing to call out about Chikyu is that you don't need to be Vegan or Vegetarian to enjoy this place.... If you consider yourself a fan of sushi, Chikyu is a must if you're in Las Vegas. The flavor profiles we've experienced in thevarious rolls at Chikyu have been unlike anything I've had elsewhere, in a very good way! One of the biggest differencesbetween vegan sushi at Chikyu compared to other places where I've had vegan sushi, is that Chikyu isn't trying to recreateclassic sushi rolls with vegan ingredients. You can find places already doing that, but Chikyu takes things in a differentdirection by getting WAY more creative with their ingredients and flavor profiles. I keep telling myself I'm going to getsomething besides sushi next time I go there (can't wait to try their Ramen), but the sushi rolls at Chikyu are each their owndelicious work of art. It really is beautiful food that also tastes incredible. Like all other traditional sushi rolls, thefood at Chikyu is very filling. Don't think that just because it comes out looking like a work of art that it won't fill you up.Both times I've gone there I've probably ordered a little too much, simply because everything looks so good, and then ended upnot being able to finish it all. Luckily, their rolls are just as good the next day. Overall, I can't recommend this placeenough. I love supporting small restaurants like this, and they're always so friendly when we come. If you want to eat something amazing and new flavors then you should eat at Chikyu. It is not cheap but it is totally worth it... because you can feel the chef made lots of researches when making his amazing sushis. I just don?t suggest to eat theCalifornia roll. Read more

WOW! I?m impressed. My best friend took me here for my birthday. The food was so good! I think this is my favorite sushi spot in... town. I don?t want to give it away, but I will say the Tomato Nigiri was probably my favorite thing there. The place is a littlesmall so make sure you get there early or be nice if you have to wait. Wow! What an experience! It was a very nice small restaurant. If you like/love sushi and have a gluten free or vegan lifestyle... or diet then this is the place for you! It has a very nice atmosphere! It is a first come first basis as of now. The chefs arevery quick with steady hands creating unique plates of food! I primarily tried the sushi tonight with the sides but I will begoing back for the ramen noodles, soups, and salads! They also serve beer, wine, and sake! I believe this restaurant can turninto something special as it is a very unique restaurant and very unique cooking with regular vegan food. Great experience!Price was medium priced. Read more

If you're reading this, I don't think you understand- you don't need to read reviews for this place because it's the best sushi... ever, just go to it. Stop reading and go to Chikyu! I'll write one anyway though- I don't remember what I get quite frequentlybecause I always order way more than I intend to eat because I want to try all of it all the time. Sometimes I'm like "theseingredients are whack" but then I eat it and I'm floored at the amazing taste they have created with it. Nothing heredisappoints. I spend $100+ everytime not because it's expensive, but because you won't stop trying and eating things. Both myvegan and non-vegan friends from out of state agree this is the best sushi, and possibly best food, period. Also get thedesserts, even if you're full. Tip this amazing staff well. Lots of parking. The only sad part of this place is the size- it'srelatively small and on busy nights you'll have quite a wait time. :-( but is it worth it? Absolutely no question. Read more

A Must try for amazing delicious sushi! If you?re expecting regular sushi, you?re going to be blown away by the incredible... flavor and texture of the vegan sushi. Everything was excellent and the Desert Gold tasted just like spicy ahi tempura roll.It?s so delicious you keep thinking it?s fish or crab!
