Dianna so she says, or whoever worked the night of 7/16/22. I wanted to place a pick up order but the girl Was very rude. Told... they me the kitchen was closed when clearly it Says 10 pm on Google. I was then laughed at and hung up on. I thought I was atMcDonald's for a min. Tamales just lost 20 year customers over a young girls attitude and a lies. It was 8:30, the time thekitchen closed. I ordered a dozen pork tamales tonight to take home. When I got home with them, only 1 out of 12 was not undercooked with mushy... masa. I had to cook them to eat them. For the price I paid, you would think they would at least be done. Very disappointed. Ihave never had any tamale in my life that was undercooked like this. Read more
Unbelievable tamales. The best I've ever had. We got 6 tamales for under $25 and were filled and satisfied! Very unique sweet... tamales as well (filled with pineapple and raisin. Very similar texture to bread pudding). The service is excellent- waiterswere very natural, intuitive and just all around friendly. When I was ordering, the waiter actually stopped me from gettinganother dish because he said that 6 tamales would be enough for me and my wife. And he was correct. If he hadn't stopped me, Iwould have spent an additional $25 more plus tip and wasted a lot of food. Truly considerate and generous. This place deserves10/5 stars. Read more
Our server Isreal was nice and did his best as he was taking care of 8 tables, we ordered the tortilla soup , which was tasty n... simple , we ordered the pazole n it was delicious n we had a taco plate which included chorizo wth cactus, asada, carnita n afish taco every thing was good except fish taco came wth tartar sauce not authentic for me, but the mole enchilada was tasty alil added spice, tamales had good flavor but a Lil to much chicken but over all nice flavors n green sauce is good! today we drove across town to try the tamales here, first of all the service was excellent and I thought they did a really good... job, we tried the green chili and chicken tamales and also the pork with red sauce... they were extremely moist, the chicken andgreen chili was tasty, but not as tasty as the pork with red sauce that was excellent!.... The service was Not so good. They served a gin tonic on a high ball glass and very little ice, so it tasted like pure tonic. The... drink was served but never waters. I had to ask for them. The server only came twice, once for the drink and then to take thefood order. He never came back to check on the food, clean our plates, offer dessert or even bring the bill. So I had to go tothe hostess desk and ask for the bill and pay. The food was good but I was a bit disappointed of the tacos, they only hadchicken, onions and cilantro. Nothing else. VISITED: 10/27/2022 FOOD: was good except the nachos which were flavorless and cheese felt like plastic. SERVICE: good service... from, staff I?ll give them a ????????????????. WAITING TIME: took longer than average. OVERALL: nice clean place, drove severalmiles for doctors appointment and decided to try this location (been on L.V.BLVD location) it was worth it.
