Usually I have no problems here. But this evening when I went in, the waitress (I didn't get her name) was extremely rude. I... told her I wanted to place a to-go order and she informed me that she wasn't doing any because she was the only server working.She didn't say the restaurant wasn't doing to-go orders, she said she wasn't. She was rude about it too. The previous night, mydad got the pork chops dinner and said it tasted funny, like it was Freezer burnt. Normally a great place to stop for a quickdinner! Read more

The food was pretty good. Atmosphere was one of the best and cleanest Iron Skillets I've dined at. What made me want to review... this location specifically is the customer service. Anita is truly a light in this world. She was so personable with myboyfriend and I and we felt right at home immediately. She was very welcoming and empathetic and even went out of her way to beattentive and make sure that we were pleased with everything. The way she spoke and jested at the cook James (who was excellentas well by the way!) was so refreshing and it was nice to see such great, working teamwork between her and James specifically,but with the rest of the staff as well. We returned for breakfast this morning and she was there again already despite havingclosed last night (or at least working the hour before closing). She definitely deserves more of a break between shifts in myopinion, what a gem! Thank you for making us feel so valued, Anita! We will see you again soon! Read more
When you walk in the sign says "please seat yourself". Waitress was so nice, and the food was great. Had country fried steak and... sirloin steak. Both were cooked perfectly! What really impressed me is that there's a convenience store, Dunkin' donuts, Amazonlocker, slot machines, showers and laundromat all in the same building. Bathrooms were recently cleaned and smelled fresh andclean!!!! The food was served on an iron skillet!! I loved it, so happy. There's a motel 6 close by. Awesome!!! Read more

I came in right before they closed. They welcomed me with no issues. Service was fantastic and the meal was delicious.
If reviews were based off service alone this would be 5 stars. Our waitress was delightful. 3/5 for the food. I ordered the... T-bone Medium with Potatos and a side salad. Sadly my t-bone came well-done. Mash potatoes seemed very thick (like they had beensitting around). Not a place I'd recommend. Read more
My friend loves this place and wanted to take me here. I was pretty skeptical of this ?70?s era truck stop greasy spoon. But my... friend was right. It was great. Granted, the food was basic diner food, but it was really tasty. I had an open-faced chilicheeseburger and the chili was sweet and delicious. The burger had a char to it that was very flavorful.
