Perfect dinner. I never had a more tasty chicken recipe, and mussels were amazing too. The waiter for the table was Ken, a... lovely, charismatic and very attentive gentleman. Table service was great, always reaching out to make sure everything wasperfect, never had a half glass of water or te lol music was very relaxing and perfect for those romantic times. Me and my significant other have been here multiple times and the food and ambience has been great. It is a cheap dinner for a... Las Vegas steakhouse and so worth the price. It is very quiet and not too much traffic so I recommend it for a quiet nicedinner. Overall me and my significant order two New York steaks a side of macaroni and french fries with two Caesar salads. Ibelieve our total was $130 but I gave him 150 with tip. Read more
Best food Tropicana has. Alex our server is our favorite server. He make your dinner amazing experience. Food is always spot on.
Staying at the Tropicana we decided to check this place out. Our first night was great, we were seated in a super comfy booth... and the fillet was Amazing! Our second visit a couple of nights later was not as great. We were denied a booth when there was 6open, yet 10 min later walk ups were being seated in them. Part of the reason the steak was great was the size and the butterthat came on it, well our second visit we were informed the steak was changed and no longer comes with butter (they did provide it for me though since I said the steak was the reason I came back), steak was also much smaller in the second visit andnot nearly as tender. We stayed at the Tropicana for 2 nights while traveling. We ate at the Oakville Steakhouse because we wanted steak and it was... close. Great service from Alex and wonderful food. My salmon was excellent and the potatoes were ok - (hubs liked the potatoes).The onion soup that came with my meal was very good. Hubs ordered Surf & turf and said it was fabulous. He also ordered a a sideof mushrooms and fries - also good ?and the portions on the sides were easily shareable. We?d go back again! Read more
We had a wonderful dinner this past Sunday evening with a friend visiting from CA. My wife had the half chicken with roasted... potatoes and artichokes, I had the 18oz ribeye and baked potato.
