Great pizza, *** HOWEVER *** they also have a small spot to order a beer while you wait for your pizza. After I told the girl I... wanted to order a drink I sat there waiting 15 minutes .. no service, no help. (Restaurant was empty) She is the same person Iordered the pizza from so it's not like she didn't know I wanted to order and was waiting. 4 older gentleman just walkedin. They also sat with ZERO attention for 10 minutes, they finally came to the other side to request help. That was 5 minutesago. Still nothing. I just got up and left, I'll wait for my pizza in the car. I WONT BE BACK, STEP UP YOUR GAME OR YOUR GONNALOSE MORE CUSTOMERS. Made a stop here on Sunday to try the thin crust pizza. I ordered a large with two toppings for around $25. This was the... absolute worst pizza I?ve ever had (this includes frozen pizza). The thin was pretty thick for a think crust. When taking a bitof the pizza all of the cheese would come off with your bite. This left each remaining bite of just crust and sauce. The cheeseseemed like it wasn?t fresh, and it was already congealed when it came out piping hot to the table. Overall it was a disgrace ofa pizza. I went and got Marcos after and it was 100x better. It is with a heavy heart that I have to leave a bad review on my favorite pizza place of all time. I grew up in the city of... Chicago and remember the square slices all the way back in the early 1970's. Back then, when my dad asked for peppers, parmesan,giardiniera, and ranch, there was no question. They threw plenty of them in the bag for a giant 24" thin crust pizza. Over theyears, it became two small ranches, one small giardiniera, and a couple packets of parmesan & peppers for an 18" thin crustpizza. Now it is just one tiny cup of parmesan and a couple packets of peppers only. When you spend $45 for an 18" pizza and asmall salad, you would think there would be some complimentary sauces. Nope. Now You must pay for everything. THEY EVEN WATERDOWN THE RANCH DRESSING NOW !!! This would not fly in Chicago, even by today's standards. The ranch dressing was a home madethick, rich, and creamy dressing which was awesome. NOW IT IS RUNNY LIKE WATER !! THEY CUT THE DRESSING AND WATER IT DOWN TOSAVE A BUCK !! What is going on here ? Rosati's Pizza is starting to fall into the category of Pizza Hut and Little Ceasars ifthey keep this up. Very sad for the high dollar we pay at Rosati's to have a good pizza. Read more
Stopped by on Tuesday for calzones, and jumbo wings. Server who helped us was Zuliema. The quality of the food was decent,... however the wings were not at all JUMBO. As a curtesy to the next customer they were definitely party wings I expected a biggerwing selection with more meat didn?t get that at all. The calzones are huge I will say that they are tasty, the Italian beefhowever is not good wouldn?t recommend at all, tasted more like philly steak meat in a calzone, also opted for green bellpeppers and onion, they do not dice the veggies up or cook them a little, so each bite had a huge piece of raw bell pepper andonion in it and it ruined the calzone. However the young lady Zuilema was nice and she even brought the food outside to usinstead of letting it sit. I appreciate her service however this restaurant could?ve been a go to if it hadn?t been for thesmall wings and uncooked veggies thrown into the calzone and weird tasting ?Italian beef?.
