The Griffen is one of my favorite bars in the downtown area. It is pretty small and unassuming, but the inside is very... comfortable and there's even a fireplace in the center which is perfect for the winter time. The bartender's here are some ofthe best. Recommended by the bartender from Atomic Liquors, this place was great. The interior reminded us of the galley of a ship, or... castle. It has a huge bar that runs the length of one side. Manned by knowledgeable bartenders who know how to mix a drink, thisplace stands out on Fremont. The bouncer was hilarious! A man who truly must love his job. That set a great vibe to the visit.
