My husband and I came to Las Vegas as a vacation and honeymoon. My husband made reservations here, and the food wasn't too... bad. I recommend the braised pork belly because it melts in your mouth. I wouldn't recommend the crispy pork with sweet and soursauce though because my family's restaurant back in Vancouver Canada makes it better. Overall the services was great, and if Ihad the chance I would come back again to try some desserts. Read more

Delectable. Everything was flavored well. Not too heavy and the delicate flavors lingered well, intermission with palate... cleansing taster and tea. Service was impeccable. Ambience held the standard of upscale and professional. Small finishingtouches such as plate clearing between courses. Definitely the best Chinese food I've had in a while. And the desserts..... nottoo sweet. I could eat here every night Read more

In my personal opinion, from this one experience, I would not consider this worthy of a Michelin star. We did the Peking duck... tasting menu, and unfortunately each course was heavy on heavy on heavy—with large portions, to boot. After the second course,I had to ask for the rest of my courses to be packaged to go, which I have never had to do at a tasting menu (I was prettyembarrassed). Overall, we felt that the dishes were unbalanced. Even the dessert was a mousse with maraschino cherry and whitechocolate. The dessert was beautiful, but after all the duck fat and truffle oil, a lighter fruit dessert would’ve been awelcome reprieve. In the end, it tasted like some of the best Chinese takeout we’ve ever had. But at $340 for two people?Nah. All that said, the decor was fun and the front of house staff was 10/10. They were attentive from before we even walkedthrough the door (they saw us approaching and opened the doors for us), and they read our cues at the table perfectly, knowingexactly when to approach the table without hovering or feeling overbearing. The waitstaff was the most positive part of theexperience, and they deserve the utmost praise. Far better than at some NYC Michelin restaurants with much higher price tags.Don’t know if this is customary, but I did appreciate that they included pineapple cake in our takeout bags (which was verygood but, again, dense and heavy!). P.S. I also liked that my purse got its own chair. Nice touch, folks. Read more

Love the decor and the service. Food is good but I cannot say this is so good that it’s a Michelin star good. The fish and... scallops were excellent but the green beans was disappointing. If you can get a reservation and don’t mind the price, yes. Doit. Try it for the experience. But I don’t think you are missing out a whole lot given all the other choices in Vegas. Read more

Reputedly the only Michelin star Chinese Restaurant in North America, Wing Lei will not disappoint. The signature Peking Duck... (made with Long Island duckling) is indeed very well done and there are enough other little surprises like the king crab saladthat does just enough to justify a true Michelin 1 star experience. The service is superb. That said, if you do come with 2 or3 Michelin star expectations, you may be disappointed. For dessert, the house made sorbet warrants a try but beware the boughtin mochis.
