The pastéis de natas (Portuguese tarts) were amazing and a pleasant surprise! It's a highlight for me, as they are the closest... ones that I have tasted in Montreal so far that are similar to those I've had in Portugal! Delicious Portuguese chicken and pork bbq. Their salad sauce is homemade, you will rediscover what is a true salad. Don't forget... to treat yourself with their tart, unique Portuguese taste. The place was small but quaint and very clean. The staff was superb. In fact, they made this review a 4.5... but no half stars... on Google. I had the take-out quarter chicken with fries and salad. Salad was separate and a highlight. The fries came insecond, tasty. The reason I didn?t give it a 5 Star was that I specifically ordered a 1/4 chicken white meat but received darkmeat instead. Maybe he didn?t hear me...it happens. I really didn?t have time to go back and replace it. To be honest, itdidn?t seem like it was a 1/4 chicken dark. There was a lot of fatty pieces...so I didn?t really enjoy it. I think if I wouldhave had what I requested (I expect to pay a little more for white meat), I would have enjoyed my meal. Honestly, we made a quick stop for lunch and just picked a place that looked busy. BEST DECISION OF THE DAY - the food was... delicious, expertly seasoned and juicy and rich. The place was packed, and handled as many take-out orders as seated... Yes, itreally is that good.
