Was in Latrobe for the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp and it got rained out ,so we ended up at Sharky's . We was greeted as... soon as we entered. Was seated at the bar to wait for the kitchen to reopen. The bartender was very polite. So was one of thepatrons I do believe his name was Dan, he shared his wings with us and took a photo of us, as well as giving us some knowledgeabout Latrobe. Great atmosphere! We had a trainee as our waitress and she was great. Her trainer was as well. The food was amazing, and not... overpriced at all. Nice selection of food and drink. Great views depending on seating. I had zero complaints about thisvisit, and will go back soon. Read more
Good local place with solid options for lunch or dinner. I always enjoy this place. Sometimes the service is a bit slow. ... Overall I like the sports bar style layout for dining. Sharky's Cafe is a Latrobe staple. It's a must to pop in and chill with a few beers on their deck. Pictured here is there... buffalo chicken sandwich and their club on full display. I opted for the onion rings as a side and I highly suggest you do thesame. Awesome staff and great service. Read more
Granted we showed up during a busy hour. We initially were put on a 30 minute wait for a table - which was completely fine, no... complaints. We were then greeted instantly by our waitress, who was great. Took our drink order and food order shortly after.10/10. It was only me and my girlfriend and we ordered a salad and Philly steak. We thought the food was a little expensive, butso be it. We then waited 1hr+ for our food to come out, and the portion size of the fries was cheap, I opted for the upgradedBuffalo fries +$2.00. My girlfriend asked for an extra side of dressing for her salad +$1.00. On top of the already expensivemeals these two charges did not seem warranted for what we got. The food was great, tasted great and served hot. But for the twomeals it just topped $40, for what was supposed to be a quick bite, I was shocked! My family and I attended St. Vincent's College homecoming game. My grandson attends the college and orders from Sharky's quite... often. He recommended that we go there for dinner. We were not disappointed. The staff was great and very attentive. The foodwas excellent. I will return again when I visit my grandson. I also highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
