Not sure how the reviews are so positive, maybe we went on an ?off day? but myself and the person I was with did not enjoy the... food. I got an omelette, hash brown, and side of toast and it was extremely bland and underwhelming. Same goes for my boyfriend,who got scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, & home fries. Everything lacked flavor. Besides the food?neither bathroom had toiletpaper or paper towels, service was rather slow, and they are cash only. On Our first time here, we had a Groupon, and we tried the breakfast offerings. I had chicken fried steak and eggs, Chi had... corned beef hash and eggs. Both came with the BEST crispy hash browns that were so good that I ate them all before anythingelse. Everything we had was very tasty, well prepared and presented. We were clearly NOT disappointed and will certainly bereturning to try other menu items!! The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, another reason to return! We love theseaside location and went for a nice little walk to the shore afterwards.. One thing to note, it is a CASH only business, so beprepared. Went here for the first time today with a Groupon to try somewhere new and we were not disappointed! Took away 1 star (which is... really only half a star) only because hubby didn't get enough potatoes (although I'm sure we could have asked for more) and myhash browns tasted like bacon and were too greasy for my liking (although some people might really like this). More like a 4.5star rating here. Omelettes were "egg-cellent" and there was more than enough food otherwise. We added a pancake to our order tosplit and that was great too. It was so much food I ended up taking home my toast and half my omelette. ???????? Atmosphere: Alittle dive/hole in the wall but clean bathroom. There were maybe 5 booths, 2 tables outside, and 10 counter spots. Great smallbeach town diner atmosphere where the staff is super friendly but short with you only because they're busy (not in a rude way -just efficient). Music is good too ???? and if you sit at the counter you have a front row seat to the "kitchen"(griddle/sandwich counter) which was entertaining. Everyone was greeting Mike/Michael, the cook as they walked in or left. We'ddefinitely come back as long as we didn't mind the 20+ minute drive and paying for parking! Read more

Cheryl, Robert, and Michael Head Chef were amazing. What great service and was greeted with a smile from our server Robert.... Cheryl served us really good coffee. I love the Cheese Hamburger and the Ruben with fries. .icheal Head Chef cooked my meal toperfection. It was delicious and very well presented. I love this little blessing in the heart of town. OMG I don't know where to start..... The customer service is AWESOME....the owner greeted us as we were walking by and tried to... offer us a place to sit down and eat. Unfortunately, I had made reservations at the horrible place around the corner. After Ileft the horrible place (still hungry bc I sent the food back) I stoppped by DINER BY THE SEAS. I told them about my experienceand were nice and welcoming so we didnt get more traumatized. I ordered the croissant sandwich....OMG that was a lot of food!When I say they cooked it to perfection that's what I mean.....and it was not a long wait at all. My children were like that'swhat food is supposed to look like. I recommend this place and I regret that I didn't go in when I was first approached. I willdefinitely be back.....tomorrow! Read more
I usually get the bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and man if you wanna eat raw hash browns with your order this is the... place. Numerous times I?ve asked for well done hash browns. They only crisp up the presentable part and leave the rest soggy andalmost raw. The sand which was good but sheesh. Cook the potatoes please lol Read more
