BEST ALOO PIE OF MY LIFE! Guys, no joke, I was so moved by this aloo pie that I decided to write my review while still... here. They are made fresh when you order: that's how it should be done!!! Also ordered the pepper shrimp combo, boneless currychicken(comes with pumpkin and aloo) shrimp wontons and phoulorie. To drink: Tropical Hurricane and coconut water. Blown away bythe authenticity and quality, hope it never changes.....we'll be back! Great staff, the owner came over to say hello; sowelcoming. Thank you for the hospitality! Read more

Omg!!! I traveled from Illinois to Fort Lauderdale with my hubbs for my 50th birthday and Googled 'Caribbean restaurants near... me'. We're from the Virgin Islands so everywhere we go we look for a cultural restaurant. Once we got there we were just inawe. The place was amazing! The doubles were as big as the Roti! Everything was delicious and authentic! I didnt take anypictures because I ate them so fast! If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely hit it up!???? Read more

Had Joys before a big road trip. I had a beautiful time, the food made my mouth water, it had me craving more roti throughout an... 8 hour road trip. The seating, the environment, if you?re Caribbean, you?ll feel that you?re back at home. My best friends loveJoys and I regret not trying their food any sooner. The pholourie was perfect, everything that I had at joys, it couldn?t beany better. If you want to try great Trinidadian Food, let Joys be your introduction. Read more

I grew up on y?all. I got to learn my Trinidadian culture before I started to go back and help the family business. With that... be said the food is great it reminds me of where I?m from the front customer service needs to buck up and stop the liming in theback. It?s not the strip club. I ordered food to pick up it should be at the counter ready to go. I should not have to wait bout10 minutes with out anyone saying just give me a second. If I see you talking I will walk up and ask for the food. Don?t laughwith someone not taking his order because people are not deaf these days we hear things it?s all recorded. So please call aheadbefore ordering even if you?re dining in. Food great just a little slow. Read more

First time visiting in decades! The cashier wasn?t too friendly I had to ask to see the menu. The only menu they have is online... which wasn?t easy to understand. The line to order and pick up your food was so disorganized and confusing. I heard the cashiercall one person. Had to ask if my food was ready and where to pick up my food. My roti wasn?t flavorful at all and the chickenwas fried too hard & wasn?t tender at all. It was such a disappointment. Read more

I only gave this three stars because of the wait time. I order two doubles and it took 30 minutes. I saw people who ordered... after me get theirs before mine. Those were some of the best doubles I?ve ever had. The salsa is super spicy and the tamarindsauce was excellent. If you?ve never had trini food then this is a place you have to try. Read more
