In reading the latest reviews I dived in to taking a chance. I'm from Philly so there are couple things that I look out for in a... cheese steak type sandwich. I loved the crab cheese steak. It's really a cheese steak hoagie, but I really was impressed. Itwas more than enough flavorful crabmeat. The cheese is simular the cheese whiz. Which is a "Philly thing" on cheese steaks butI prefer Provolone or American. The roll is what was the final determining factor. It was very simular to the famous PhillyChesse Steak Amoroso Rolls. The fries were great too. Just enough Ol' Bay. I little pricey but it was definitely worth it. Iwill be back soon. Read more
I LOVE CASEY'S !!!!! I am a super fan of their crab cheesesteak. I came all the way from NJ and my first stop as soon as I... reached MD was here. So excited I left my car keys in the restaurant lol. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything (cheese,lettuce, tomatoes, fried french onions) Y U M!!!!!!! With a side of fries. Crab overload in the sandwich and nice & hot freshcut fries to top it off. I heard Maryland is known for having the best seafood in America! This place is one of them that provides that. CASEY?S is know... for having the famous Crab Meat Cheesesteaks, Yes! The decor is rustic yet navel, so cute. I even love that for each order ofsteamed seafood they open the side door & they are cooked In these huge metal Steam Drums letting let out whole heap of steamwhen it?s done. So this is a MUST SEE! I ordered my food To-Go. The service was quick and staff were pleasant & it smelleddelicious. When I got home, boy oh boy! My steamed shrimp was cooked to perfection & flavorful. With no shortage of places to choose from I almost decided to grab adeli sandwich when I stumbled across a review mentioning a crab meat cheesesteak sandwich. I was intrigued. Figuring I was inMaryland, I couldn't turn down an opportunity for crab and I love cheesesteak sandwiches, sounds like a match made inheaven! The place is slightly off the beaten path, but a good drive and location. They had pots coming crab out front. Takingorders and folks sitting outside, they seem to be taking covid measures seriously. Service was very friendly. I asked for arecommendation before ordering, and sure enough the crab cheesesteak and crab sandwich were recommended. I took the bait... *Badum tss* Amazing! Like a crab sandwich on steroids! OK, a little overkill, but really good. I will say the cheese threw me off abit, but still really good. Only complaint, you're going to pay for crab, but I always feel like they're overly stingy with themeat. Also, if taken to-go, eat as quickly a you can to prevent it from getting soggy. I ordered the flounder sub. My wife had the grilled Salmon. Both dishes were pretty flavorless. My wife said the tartar sauce... was pretty good. She said it gave the Salmon flavor. The sub was average, flounder was flavorless. Read more
