This Pizza Inn was not very good. The staff seemed a little out of it and more concerned with chatting amongst themselves than... helping customers. I've been eating here since 1977 (I was 4). Whenever work takes me through the area, I stop and eat there. This time was the... last. We arrived shortly after opening - the bar was covered with specialty pizzas. I was able to get 1 piece of pepperoni - itwas cold. This was a theme; the warmer seemed not to work (health code violation) as every piece I got was cold if the pizza hadbeen there more than 5 minutes. I requested a pepperoni thin crust. It eventually appeared, and was gone before I could get any,the server did not bring us a piece. Another woman became visibly upset - she had also requested a pepperoni before I had, anddidn't get any. As a side note, the location appeared to be at a normal staffing level. This was our 1st time here. We had an absolutely amazing server named Gracey. She was very polite professional and very great... personality. She was an absolute blessing. For a yong lady working she was absolutely amazing. There was another young man withcurly hair we didn't get his name but he was an absolute delight. They were a great team. We had a great time. The pizza wascold at first but they asked if we would like anything made fresh they had it out and it was delicious after that it was comingout fresh. Thier supreme pizza was amazing. The cinnamon stromboli was so delicious. We highly recommend. Please don't be shyand ask for fresh pizza if you feel the ones on the buffet are not they are more then happy to make you what you ask for. Itsnice to see young people with good work ethics. Wow this place is amazing when we first got here the pizza was cold but they asked if we wanted any pizza in particular we told... them and they made it so they will get you fresh pizza if you ask which is epic ! We had a server named Gracie and she was ablessing and breath of fresh air to have , very kind sweet and made sure she took care of us ! There was also a gentleman withcurly hair didn't get his name he was sweet and kind as well and together they worked so well and made it a nice atmosphere !The 5 stars is for the service and the food it's worth a shot to eat here also the prices are fantastic and please don't forgetto tip your server ???? I grew up eating at a Pizza Inn in Asheboro, NC. It burnt sometime in the 1990's and was never rebuilt. This one was almost... identical as most chain restaurants are built identical. The pizza's on the buffet at 7:45 p.m. we're plentiful and severalstaff asked what specifically we would like to eat. When they brought it out, they brought three slices of each to our table.The waitress was amazing and told us it was her last day of work before returning to UNC Chapel Hill. Quality wasn't up toMellow Mushroom but was comparable to Dominoes or Pizza Hut. I will eat here as long as the quality and service don't decline.Buffet price, 9.50 per person. Read more
They have a wide variety of pizza at the buffet. The pizza we wanted was gone before we could get a slice and one person could... only have cheese and dessert pizzas, we mentioned the pizzas we would like and they brought them to us first to ensure wereceived a slice of the pizza when it came out. They really went above and beyond for their customers. Their dessert pizzas wereunique and delicious. My whole big family left happy and appreciative of all the members who took care of us. Read more
