We had lunch at the Laurinburg NC exit off 74. It was delicious. Staff was great, clean place to eat. I understand that prices... have to go up due to the economy. The great thing is here you still get a generous portion. Some businesses raise the pricesand give you smaller portions. Thanks Smithfield's! Read more
Delicious South Carolina fried chicken and barbecue. The baked beans were a scrumptious surprise they were some of the best... we?ve ever had! There is a sweet lady that went around asking us if we needed refills or if we needed anything and that reallyput it over the top and made it really nice for a relaxing lunch. Read more
Above and beyond... incredible food but even more important to me, Incredible service. We were checked on a few times by the... staff as well as the manager. We are from Ohio and don't find that service as easy anymore..Our friend has a food allergy andthe manager went out of her way to help make sure she would order the right food. Thank you. Read more
This place was great for a pit stop on our way through town. I had never heard of it before but a billboard made it look good.... We got the combination platter to try the pork BBQ & fried chicken, and both were very good. It was enough food for my wife & Ito share for lunch. Their sauces, hushpuppies, & seasoned flour for breading are all for sale to use at home. I loved the sinkby the door to wash off the chicken grease. Read more
The food was pretty yummy and everyone was very friendly and helpful. I am from Texas so our BBQ is pretty different compared to... North Carolina. The sauce they use is more on the vinager based side but I'm always down for something different. But let metell y'all that the hush puppies are completely off the chain! Great Carolina Bar-b-cue and Chicken I grew up in Bennettsville , S.C. and now live in Las Vegas since 1991 . I came home to... visit friends and family all over the Carolinas . I love all kinds of Bbq and tried many regions . For Pulled Pork it's got tobe Carolina vinegar based . I was really impressed by the quality here since it is a chain . The flavor was perfect , with alittle sweet slaw the sandwich was great and the soft bun was just right . The fries were hot , good , and they gave a generousamount . The sweet tea was good and not overly sweet , just right . The banana pudding was okay , nothing special but good andcold . The employees were very nice like they should be in the South . I've been to a few other places on my trip andunfortunately a lot of them could care less . The place was very clean and inviting . I went back a few days later to try theChicken after seeing some ladies eating some a table over from me and it looked so good . Well , it was fantastic ! I reallyloved the Chicken Breast I had . It was juicy and the skin and batter they cooked it is was perfect . The best chicken I havehad in a long time . Absolutely love this place and those who work there! I go through withdrawals since I live too far from a store, but every time... I make it back east it's a definite stop! The food is always delicious and great sizes for the money. The staff are so friendlyand take time to talk to you kinda like how it used to be.. Keep up the great work y'all! Read more
