Food is almost always fine to bad. Either the chicken is under cooked or the fries are undercooked and under seasoned. They... forget sauces all the time, give you a small drink when you order a large. Definitely skip this place if you can help it. Read more

I wish I could give 0 stars... Very poor and slow service. I waited over 30 mins for my order just for the chicken to be... uncooked, the fries weren't seasoned, got the wrong sauce and the toast wasn't even cut. After complaining I had to wait 1.5hours for them to cook another batch of chicken. 2 hours total, so much for "fast food" and the staff wasn't in any rush to fixour order and just didn't seem to care. I used to love eating here but things have really gone downhill. I'll highly recommendyou go somewhere else to get your food. Read more

My husband and I stopped by Zaxby?s going home from Hamlet and it was the worst experience, we wait at the drive thru... approximately 30 minutes to get our food and when we get to the window, 3 of the employees were on their cell phones, so wewonder, does this establishment even have a manager?.. This was my first time going to a Zaxby's . I meant to go to one when I was in the Carolinas last time in 2019 , but I had so... much good Country food and Carolina Bbq that I didn't go to one . This time just before I left to go back to Las Vegas , I wentto this one October 11 , 2021. I have to say I was really disappointed . We have Raising Cane's in Las Vegas and I thought itwould be on par with them , nope . Raising Cane's is soooo much better . The only thing I can say is that Zaxby's has a betterselection of items to choose from . Raising Cane's is mostly Chicken Fingers , Texas Toast , Coleslaw , Sweet Tea , and onedipping sauce that is really good . They have a lot of locations and people love them . I parked and went inside even though Iwas getting mine to go , so I could see how the inside looked . The drive thru lane was a little backed up anyway . Afterchecking out the menu , I decided to get Chicken Fingers and Fries . I was going to try the Cajun Club Chicken Filet Sandwichand asked the cashier if she had tried it and she said no . I figured maybe I would try it next time . I got either the ZaxSauce or Spicy Zax Sauce , but it didn't taste any where as good as Raising Cane's . The floor by the soda machines was wet ,I'm talking a puddle ! I got a soda at first , but it tasted like mostly carbonated water , so I poured it out and got sweettea . I sat for a while and I mean a while till I finally got my order . A couple people who came in after me got there foodbefore me which was not nice . One guy came in from the drive thru while I was waiting and was complaining about somethingwrong with his order , like maybe they forgot something . He was not happy . I would like to try some of their differentsandwiches and other items next time I come back to the Carolinas , but probably a different location like maybe Waynesvillenear where my sister lives . I usually love Zaxbys and have a great experience! I stopped by this one on my way home to Wilmington and it is just lacking in... every area. I got the kickin chicken like I always do. The bread -felt stale and hard The chicken - not bad but not hot TheSAUCES- They barely put any ranch or tongue torcher sauce on it. Me being the good customer I am went and BOUGHT 2 saucepackets to make up for it. The customer service is fine the people are very nice. They dont know how to cook though.
