We come here 2-3x a week. Cheesesteak was very good. We\'ve had many dishes here and everything is consistently excellent. Prime... rib, Turkey w/stuffing, sautéed items, soups, pork chops, French toast... Always delicious, prices are fair and staff is attentive. Owners work extremely hard to keep everyone happy. Excellent selections on the menu. I ordered a mini meal and still left very full. My companion and I each had soup, baked potato... and vegetable with our entrees. Excellent vegetable soup. The only reason my visit did not earn 5 stars is due to the fact thatan entire section of the menu was unavailable at the time of our visit. However, plenty of other choices. Very extensive menu. Ihighly recommend. Read more

I have been waiting for them to open was not disappointed. The food is homemade, I had cheese burger deluxe, the burgers are... fresh made,on a good roll. They have a large menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, or anytime. Will be back again. I wish themgreat success. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Read more

Wed 6/22/2022\nWe were at this restaurant previous to them closing and enjoyed it. Great home fries a little slow service but... not bad.\nThis experience was not so good. We ordered scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage patties with toast. I ordered an eggsandwich with sausage and cheese on a kaiser roll. The sandwich came with sausage links on the sandwich. Seems dumb when theyhad patties. Service was again very slow. 25 minutes until the food came out. Home fries were not showing a color on them barelyfried!!!\nGonna wait till we try them again. New owners. They kept some of the waitress staff. ????????????????\nThe previous 2 owners did not do a very good job and left... the place with a bad reputation. The last owner had the place terrible from the start. I am So glad that there is someone thatis making a good run of the place. It is very conveniently located and a shame it had knuckleheads up to this point. They aredoing great!!!They are not fully staffed yet and still hiring but........ Still managed to be a big success from the start.Everything was better than good. Service was great. Everyone that was there eating had a very pleasant experience. Can\'t waitto go back! I went there hungry and wanting to try something different. I got a burger with ham (Canadian bacon) on it and Itried 2 soups. All was very good! I have no doubt there will be a 5 star in their near future.???????????????????????? Read more

First day of new owners. Menu is extensive. Hubby had stuffed tilapia which he could not stop raving about. I had the Salisbury... steak which was delicious. Staff is friendly but just learning the ropes as this is a family owned, run and staffedestablishment.\n\nThe decor is a mixture of 50s and modern decor. Seats are comfortable, large windows bring in plenty ofnatural light. Read more

Have been waiting for a while to try this place since they opened. The early reviews weren’t favorable, and the prices seemed... a bit more expensive than what I am used to paying at a “diner”. I was hoping the reviews would get better, and saw acouple of positive e, but still wasn’t sold. Only thing I was able to notice was the lack of recent business at the diner. The first couple of weeks seemed busy at lunch and dinner time, but the last week and a half or two the place seems dead. Theyoriginally had breakfast scheduled, but that ended very soon. As for breakfast, I think they should start with weekendsonly...IF they can get the prices to a reasonable level (Ed Petruccelli mentioned a $50 breakfast tab for 2 adults and 2 6-yearolds in his Google review)! Shorty thereafter, breakfast was canceled completely. Had a friend in from out of town and decidedwe would give the new place a go. Picked him up at his hotel near the airport and drove up to Laurys Station, only to find therestaurant closed with a sign on the door that read; “We are closed due to lack of staff. Sorry for any inconvenience.” Then I decided to grab some beer at the distributor in the back, only to find out they were no longer there....it appears fromwhat is on the shelves inside (through the window) the restaurant is using the building for dry storage. I think it will take abit more convincing to try this place. Not saying “no”, but not jumping at “yes” either. Read more

The Laurys Station American Grill is a very welcomed addition to the community since the last diner closed a few years back. My... wife and I went for dinner last night, there was a lot of confusion amongst the staff. We were promptly seated and given drinks, but then sat and waited over 25 minutes for someone to take our order. I got the brisket burger which was ok, few crispy onionsbut a good amount of cheese. Unfortunately, it was very reminiscent of a frozen patty cooked on a griddle. My wife got the fourpiece fried chicken, there wasn’t a lot of meat on the bones and it was fried very hard. Fries were ok, also tasted likefrozen boring fries. I look forward to trying the grill for breakfast which is only served from 6:30-11am. I understand growingpains of a new restaurant and we will probably be back to try it again someday.\n\nUpdate April 2022: Their hours are now11am-8pm and closed Monday’s. So much for trying them out for breakfast! Read more
