First time at 123 Dzo and this place did not disappoint! We went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and were able to... reserve for around 20 people. One of my friends took the Bun thit nuong cha gio and was delighted by all the amazing flavourscoming from this single dish. Meanwhile, I split the Goi du du kho bo, the Bot chien, the Cua lot sot me, the Bo luc lac, andthe Ga & Heo skewers with another friend to be able to taste more dishes. The server was very helpful in his recommendations andsuggested 5-6 tapas for 2 people. This place is definitely worth the detour for some sort of celebration as there was anothertable also celebrating a birthday at the same time as us. I lived some years in the city of Nha Trang in Vietnam and as soon as I entered this restaurant, I felt the vibe of that city...... Turns out the owner and his wife are from there and it shows! The decor is very nice, the food is delicious (I tried the springrolls and the Bò lúc l?c), the presentation impeccable, the service friendly and fast. Also, if you're looking for a... good pho, that's not the place to go, their specialty is vietnamese tapas / street food, and it's worth it! Great Vietnamese restaurant! We tried the Papaya salad, grilled squid, soft-shell crab, the chef choice for the skewers and the... fried banana dessert. Everything was delicious and not pricey. Small location with very cute decor. The staff is really nice and there is a great vibe. I Had the following: - Soft shell crab... and tamarind 7/10 you get 4 pieces per plate. We came here to eat twice and food has been consistently delicious. The skewers and appetizers are authentic. They have the soft... shell crab which is not commonly found in other restaurants. The kids meal is very generous too and comes with juice. We gotbirthday dessert for free as a surprise. Nice asian decoration and bistro vibe. Wooden stool chairs are however not very comfy.On Sunday it's more quiet, reservation in advance recommended on Sat. Certainly one of the best asian restaurants in Laval. Read more
