Today went to Achoura Deli in Laval. OMG! What an exceptional experience it was! The steak was huge and cooked to perfection.... The owner (Mr Nadim I believe) was super friendly and sooo nice. I wanted to order too much food for four person but he advicednot to order that much for four persons (super helpful) as his portions are very big (it truly was) and still we ended uppacking some for take out! The smoked meat sandwich was super delicious and the meat literally melts in your mouth. The bread ismade fresh everyday as well! It's hard for me to say chicken super delicious as I am not a big fan of chicken but even, thechicken was cooked to perfection (smoked too!). Thanks for the perfectly made sandwich by the owner himself (forgot to takepicture as went straight away into the tummy). It was superb ????. Never had Shwartz as they are not halal but I am pretty surethey are not as good as Achoura's. The place might not be super fancy but it's a modern, cozy style restaurant with great foodand special hospitality. A must try for all the steak and smoked meat lovers here. Well first it is the only HALAL smoked meat in the area. The quality of meat was so good and so delicious. I recommend their... smoked meat sandwiches of course and I can't wait to try their steak and grilled chicken. If you want to try some Montreal smoked meat sandwiches then this is your spot. The food was unbelievably delicious and filled... with flavour. The poutine was extremely delicious too. Jamal the owner was very awesome to talk with, very kind, hospitable andhad great service. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in Montreal. The food is all Halal too. Read more
