Came for dinner when staying at the Holiday Inn. Was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice restaurant in a 3-start hotel.... Ambiance was nice. Service was timely and friendly. Food portion is generous. The steak was done just right with goodpresentation. I had soup of the day which was a pumpkin based soup. Wish it had more flavour because it was bland for my taste.Also would be nice to have freshly ground peppers offered. Read more

Lionel was a culinary experience at its best. If you want great French cuisine in a very comforting, calm and beautiful setting,... Lionel is the place for you. Their menu is always changing and their staff is very welcoming and nice. From appetizer, to maindish, to desserts, it is absolutely fantastic and I rarely experienced in Montréal such deligh when eating at restaurant. I never expected such a high-end and gorgeous restaurant inside of our hotel! The food was amazing and the drinks were great!... This one came with my favorite candy which was a nice touch. The wait staff were very nice and accommodating to us (only one ofus speaks French) but they were a bit slow to come around to us around check time.
