My son and I dropped in late one evening, as we were looking for an open restaurant in the area but seemed everything else was... closed. It was somewhat busy, but we were pleased the waiter was extremely friendly and quick, and the food came quickly, wasnice and hot, and met our expectations. My son had a wrap and I went with smoked meat platter, and we shared some wings. Theywere all great, and there was so many good choices on the menu - something for everyone. Went there on a sunday afternoon, was basically empty so it was very easy to find a table for 5 people without reservations. The... service was friendly, and the food xam quite fast and each plate came almost at the same time. Smoked meat: The medium fatsmoke meat is very good, moist enough, well seasonned with the black pepper, and they have a very good pickle. Their fries arethe basic soggy and oily fries. Chicken burgers: The chicken in their burger is crispy but there's more breading than actualchicken, so a bit disappointing. But they take care to toast their buns properly. They burnt my friend's buns though. Overallgood experience, too much food to finish so for healthy eaters, this is a very good place to get some good food and a lot offood for an appropriate price. The service is a bit lacking. We got seated and ordered our food and still no water was served to us. Usually it's the first... thing that is done after seating the customers and given the menu. The smoke meat sandwich (Reuben and big combo) weredelicious. The cabbage salad and pickle was what we needed with it. The fries I found a bit bland but with ketchup everything isok. The smoke meat poutine was very good and hot enough so the cheese can melt. The fried rice was okay/good but very oily. Therice was glistening with it and it doesn't taste much else than soy sauce and well the smoke meat I guess. Overall, I recommendthe smoke meat sandwiched and poutine.
